Wat Satthatham (Na To Ming, Trang Province)
Wat Satthatham
Hello friends, amidst the afternoon sunlight, my wife and I decided to stop by to see the beauty of Wat Satthatham, a temple located in Village No. 5, Na To Ming Subdistrict, Mueang District, Trang Province. This temple is a temple of the people, belonging to the Mahanikaya Sect, Region 17, with an interesting history.
History
Wat Satthatham was built in 1939 by the villagers in the community who worked together to build it on land donated by devotees at that time. This temple is the center of the villagers in the community. It is a place for religious ceremonies and a place where villagers can make merit, listen to sermons, and practice Dhamma. Features
Atmosphere
The highlight of Wat Satthatham is its simple architecture, which is beautiful and peaceful. When my wife and I walked into the temple, we were greeted by a shady and peaceful atmosphere. The large trees around the temple create a cool and natural atmosphere.
Inside the temple, there is a beautiful chapel with a principal Buddha image. There is also a prayer hall used for religious ceremonies and a place where locals can meet and talk.
Interesting things
The chapel of Wat Satthatham is a building with simple architecture, but with hidden beauty. Inside the chapel is a beautiful principal Buddha image.
When my wife and I stepped into the chapel Wat Satthatham, the first thing that caught everyone’s eyes was probably the principal Buddha statue enshrined inside. But what was equally impressive were the carved wooden doors and wooden windows that were decorated around the chapel, which were works of art that showed the faith and meticulousness of craftsmen in the past.

Stories carved on wood
The wooden doors of Wat Satthatham’s chapel are intricately carved. The patterns all have meanings and hidden Buddhist stories.
Walk around the temple grounds to experience the shady and peaceful atmosphere. My wife and I experienced the beauty and stories of Wat Satthatham.
The temple area or the temple fence area, that area will be the location of the coffin to put the ashes of the deceased along the line. And this temple is under construction, such as the bell tower and the temple gate. If friends pass through Trang Province, stop by to experience the beauty of the temples in Trang Province. There are many more temples that are beautiful.
Today, I will say goodbye.
