Incomplete trip to an old Shiva Temple in the Himalayas

in Worldmappin3 years ago (edited)

Hello Namaste Satsriakal🙏

Your friend Pulkit is back with a new experience from my Travel diary.
I'm a traveller by birth. Loves to travel and especially travelling to mountains gives a hard hit to the testosterone in my body.

So in this blog, I'm gonna tell you about the places which I visited in March this year.

The place is called Ransi, situated in the Rudraprayag district of Uttrakhand.
En route, we found A very famous temple of Lord Hanuman, as when we reached it was 2 in the night, so we didn't get inside the temple

It took us 18 hours to reach the Ransi village.

The village is surrounded by the Mighty Himalayas.

When u stepped out of your vehicle, the fresh breeze hits on the face, and your tiredness just disappears by the view and the peacefulness of the place.

There is a trek of around 18 km from Ransi village to the Holy temple of Madhmaheshwar.

The trek is so beautiful and you can only find yourself, mountains, and a river flowing by your side on half of the trek.

On your way to the Temple, you will find small villages where you can take a halt and also can stay. The authentic pahadi food will be available so that you can fully feel how the people of the villages live.

Scenic views mesmerize you. crossing the river by the wooden bridge.

Blue sky, waterfalls, valleys, and trees filled with colourful flowers make the trip unforgettable.

After walking for 9kms we reached a village called Upper Bantoli. There were only 5-6 houses present where we stayed for a night.

We were informed at the Ransi village that the Temple is closed this season due to heavy snow. The forest department people will not allow you to reach your destination. but we were eager to try our luck.

When we reached Bantoli, the forest department and the people of the temple caring committee didn't allow us to go further leaving our trip incomplete.

But it was such a fantastic trip and we are planning to complete it in the coming month.
I'll post the whole trip very soon.

So stay tuned...
