A cordial greeting to all readers, this time I bring you to a place that I have talked about before, but for which I had not yet given you a tour, this place is called "The Caobos" and is a park located in Caracas, Venezuela, exactly near the Bellas Artes subway station.

This is a recreational place with spaces full of trees, green areas, art exhibits, fountains, courts, food places, paths, restrooms and parking. Everything you need to spend a pleasant time with your family or friends, to get great shots and most importantly to spend a different time feeding the mind and spirit.

In this tour I entered the park through the entrance of Bellas Artes, since it has two entrances, my first impression was to be surprised by the spaces with gigantic and very green trees, that natural green that is fascinating to the eye. I also had the impression of entering a cozy place, possibly because of the cloudy weather that day.

Right at the entrance of the park there is a carved figure of a woman representing Teresa de la Parra, this character was born in 1889 and stood out for being the first Venezuelan writer to be recognized internationally, she developed a literary career where she stood out as a novelist. This work is by Carmen Cecilia and the material used is carved marble.

After passing the first figure of the park you find a straight road which crosses the entire place from there you can see much of the context, you also find benches to sit, some local food, sweets and souvenirs, which transform the travel experience in delicious.

As I continued walking I saw two works accompanied by a mirror of water, which reflected in a very beautiful and artistic way the sculptures that were in the place. Among the works was the "Golden African Elephant" of which I have already spoken on the platform, designed by the Italian company Trend Group, covered with golden crystals in the form of mosaic. This is a sculpture that fills the place with color and is one of the main attractions because it attracts a lot of attention with its brightness and gold.

The second work of art accompanied by a mirror of water is "The other cheek" work of art of which I have also written, created by James Mathisson, this is placed on a base and around it is surrounded by water, which in my opinion makes you hallucinate with an effect of two cracked faces.

This park has many different places which makes your visit very interesting not only in the artistic part, but also in the ecological and recreational part. Something that caught my attention was the sculpture of a man with wings, because I like the idea of flying and the artistic representations of angels. This is "Icarus", a work of Felipe Herrera made with concrete and metal, shows us his perception of the winged man who has a history in Greek mythology.

The main protagonist of the place is the fountain "Venezuela" made by Ernesto Maragall, this attractive place has five human statues representing the Andes, the Caribbean Sea, the plains, the Waraira Repano and the Orinoco. Names of places that represent the beauty of my country. Each one of the figures of the fountain has a special and different attraction, they were carved in artificial stone, and every fountain has a hydraulic design to project the water to 16 meters high.

The beauty of this fountain is extremely grandiose, as well as its history and every detail it possesses, this is part of the cultural heritage of Caracas and adds cultural, artistic and architectural value to this place that on my visit was getting better and better.
