The atmosphere of Mount Menir was cloudy, I failed to enjoy the beauty of the sunset

For friends who love travel and natural beauty in the #Wordmappin community, I hope we are all in good health. This weekend I want to share stories and some photos of my and my family's trip to a mountain in the Bogor Regency area, namely Mount Menir, to watch the evening sun set at the weekend.

Mount Menir is a location that is one of the destinations for residents of Bogor Regency and its surroundings to enjoy the natural atmosphere from the top of the mountain. To get to the top of Mount Menir, it took me around 2-2.5 hours to travel using a private vehicle because I had to pass through the city of Bogor, a city which is famous for its traffic jams, especially as it was a weekend even though the distance was around 42 kilometers. After passing through the city of Bogor and entering Bogor district, natural beauty can begin to appear in the form of bushes and verdant agricultural areas, both secondary crops and rice farming in the form of verdant rice fields. The natural scenery on the way is really tempting to be able to enjoy the atmosphere this afternoon directly.

A pleasant journey with winding roads, sometimes downhill and uphill, is indeed exciting to enjoy. Finally we arrived at our destination, namely the peak of Mount Menir. At the top of Mount Menir, visitors have gathered, some of whom occupy a cafe to wait for the beautiful moment when the sun sets on the western horizon while enjoying various foods and drinks that they ordered at the Aruna Coffee cafe. After parking the vehicle at a roadside location, we joined other visitors while enjoying a cup of coffee and snacks.

It was getting evening but it seemed like we failed to enjoy the moment of the setting sun because after a while we were here the weather turned cloudy and a little foggy. Finally I decided to go around the area around the cafe to take some photos at a photo spot here.

From the top of this mountain I also took several photos of the rice fields from here which looked quite beautiful with the farmers' rice fields. I used various flowers here as photo objects to add to my photo collection.
