🎶 Hello Everyone🎶
"The whole world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page of it."
There are thousands of quotes about this famous quote "St. Augustine". Today I will review one of my best trips to Tanguar Haor. Tanguar Haor is the largest haor in Bangladesh located in Sunamganj district of Bangladesh. She is called the queen of beauty of Haor.
Journey started:
Our journey to Tanguar Haor started from Fakirapul in Dhaka with 25 team mates in June last year. We started our journey at 11.30 pm sitting in Shyamoli. On this trip we had a separate musical team as well as many more with their families.
First day:
After breakfast at Pansi Hotel in Sunamganj, we don't have a light rest and our phones and power banks are not charged. Then we left Laguna in front of Pansi and went to Teker Ghat. As soon as I entered the Teker Ghat, I started doing something different in my mind. The amazing beauty of nature has filled me with a different fascination.
Location
We had to fix the boat at Teker Ghat. Of course it is better to fix the boat beforehand. We are enjoying the beauty of my haor sitting on the roof of the boat and we who were part of the musical team started singing again. The tour admin and the boatmen went shopping together. There you can market whatever you want to eat. At the end of the market, the cooking continues in the boat and the boat continues to move to the beat of the song. All the responsibilities of cooking are with the boatmen. On the way we come to the front of the Watch Tower.
You can take a bath by stopping the boat in a safe place next to the Watch Tower. Of course, you can rent a life jacket from Tech Ghat, because without a life jacket, you will not get the real fun of a bath. Tanguar Haor is a place where you can float in the water and enjoy the beauty of nature while having tea.
The boat you rent will have a small wash room where you can change clothes. After taking a bath, you will sit on the roof of the boat and have lunch. Our food items were mashed potatoes, rice, fish curry, pulses. Water all around and green in the distance. I ate great food while watching the ceremony. This food cannot be considered as satisfaction. After lunch, the boat started moving towards Niladri Lake. We were sleeping with our stomachs full. We woke up and reached Niladri Lake.I woke up and reached Niladri Lake. I could not help but thank the Creator for the beauty I saw. Clouds, mountains and water will blend together and it will feel like a beautiful green land.
I got out of the boat and started walking towards Niladri Lake. The funny thing is that Bangladesh is on one side of this lake and India is on the other side. After a while, the evening came down and all the sodium lights of the border came up in the water. When the light of the light was reflected in the water of the lake, these two eyes of mine witnessed that amazing beauty.
On the green grass by the side of the lake, all of our team continued to sing together. The cold air mixed with the melody of the song created a sweet atmosphere. We finished dinner at around 10 pm. While we were eating, the sailors made our sleeping bed inside the boat. Spending the night inside the boat was a different feeling.
Day 2:
I woke up the next morning and saw the sunrise on the shores of the lake. After having a fresh breakfast, we left for Shimul Garden. After walking for 2 hours we reached Shimul Bagan.
We went to Shimul Bagan and the photo session of our team members continued. Some of us were singing different songs together. I am sharing a video below.
Turning to Barikka Tila we then proceeded for the purpose of the jadu kata river. The jadu kata was very nice to look at but its water was very dirty. And there was also quicksand due to sand being taken from there. Seeing the safe place, we finished our afternoon bath there.
I will always remember the indescribable beauty of the rain as I walked. All the road riders listened to our songs. In fact, they are very earthly people. Like their cooking, their use, their singing voice. We supported them by playing musical instruments. In this way, I came to the ghat of Tek, said goodbye to the boatmen and left Laguna in the afternoon and came back to Pansi. As our return bus to Dhaka was at night, we had a good time to rest and charge the phone. Then I ate dinner at Pansi and got on the bus and got off at Dhaka the next morning. This was the story of my Tanguar tour.
