Last time I shared the beauty of Sinharaja Lankagama River Gin View. Today the best part, I am going to share with you what we really did at Lankagama. The purpose of our tour was an "Outbounding Training". What does it really mean ha? Outbound training is taking employees away from their regular work environment and assigning them outdoor challenges that need to be completed within a particular time. This addresses the leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills of employees.

It was a great idea to organize such an event because we could know our own strengths and fears and how much capable we are.

Before you skip the blog let me give you a few basic details about the service provider in any case you came to Sri Lanka. The experience provider is Ecogrip you can check through their website. Sixteen members of our company joined this training. As I heard, it costs 20 000 LKR per person including adventures, accommodation, food, and transport from Colombo.

They are well-trained and also use the best types of equipment for particular activities. Only two or three of had pre-experience but the service provider provided us the best care and life-saving.

We spent there two days with one night. We started our first day by dividing ourselves into two groups. As the first ice break event, we were asked to hold hands and go over a rope. First, we had to go under the rope without bending to the front and without leaving our hands. We had to repeat this until we do it correctly. Then we had to cross a second rope on top of it without making any physical contact with it. Our team had to use tricks to bring short people like me through the rope.

After that two teams separated with a guide and a group of trained supporters. We were directed to a river. We had to walk to a waterfall through a river. The water level was low so we were able to walk through the water. It wasn't easy as we thought. Rocks inside the river were extremely slippery. We had to hold hands with each other to walk safely. As a person with less experience with water, I felt this very difficult but later I started to like it.

Our destination was Brahmana Ella. With the dry weather, the water flow wasn't that rough. Actually, we came here for the confident jump, but I didn't really want to swim or jump :) But if you are taking this package, please do. Ha ha.. Until others do a confident jump, I asked the photographer to take some photos of me and my friend.

After the confident jump, we returned back to the camp through the forest. We were almost wet, but we had lunch with wet clothes as we were supposed to have another activity in the evening.

Hello @yahli, Can I know how to use this poshtoken? Is there any post to understand the procedure of this?

even though it was wet but it was fun and I saw it was very orderly, if I was there I would have really enjoyed playing in the water hehe

Yeah... It was really fun training. I was fearful to do the confident jump. But anyway I managed to few great activities

The longer you will be confident and lose fear, just think it's fun

es. I had another type of jump. Will share it with you in another post. Thank you for the support.
