During my whirlwind trip through the west coast last month. I finally got a chance to hit up this Thai restaurant just outside of Seattle, Washington. If you like good Thai food, or just good food, come check out this place.
Rama House is a family-owned and run, Thai restaurant in Bothell, just outside of Seattle. Here's their address: 22010 17th Ave SE Ste C Bothell, WA 98021 and website https://ramahousebothell.com.
I'm not a big fan of food in general, and especially Thai food, since I'm allergic to a lot of ingredients but the stuff I did eat was good. My brothers tried a lot of the dishes and they all agreed it was really good. Even my parents thought so too and that's saying a lot since our family was in the restaurant biz while I was growing up.
Here's some pics:
As you can see in the pictures, we sat outside because you know, a buncha guys sitting around drinking gets pretty loud. There is indoor seating but I was too busy having fun to take pictures. I'm actually surprised I got any food shots at all, haha. If you're a fan of sweets/desserts, you gotta try the Thai coffee, Thai tea and the mango sticky rice from their menu !
If you're wondering if the dishes are authentic Thai food, I would have to say, as close as one could get outside of Thailand. Meaning the lack of purely traditional ingredients or even just the quality differences is enough to change the taste of a dish. I can say that the owner/chef is Thai and went to culinary school in the US. (I forgot where tho), that to me, plus the good food, makes it legit.
Here's a pic of me and the owners
These guys are super friendly and cheery. The wife is the chef and the husband helps out at the restaurant from time to time, he's a dentist by trade.
Well worth the two trips we made to dine here on the way up to Vancouver, BC, and then back down to Eugene, OR. Definitely check it out if you're traveling around Seattle. The beers are ice cold !
I hope you found this post helpful. Thanks for viewing and best wishes!
