Let's feature: Coron, Palawan, Philippines
A short history for you all.
The Island of Coron, Palawan 🏝️ were originally inhabited by the Tagbanuas, Calmiananen, and Cuyonon tribes. The place was a settlement for migrants. Nowadays Coron, Palawan were famous for its World War II wreck diving spots and many others.
Location: Black Island
Due to the demands of my friends because they wanted to flight high like a butterfly 🤣😂. We looked for a lesser fare bound to Coron, Palawan in order to save and the trip do come true. But as a budgetarian (the one who does the budgeting-Filipino terminologies) I manage to look for places and tour packages that soothes our budget. Estimated expenses was Php8,000 per pax (all-in).
Look at you, look at us. How you like that. 🤣😂 Seeing them happy made me even happier. We're all excited to experience another Island. But sad to say we're not fully prepared in terms of gadgets and paraphernalia for swimming and diving.
Here we are, our official photo at Coron, Palawan. Waiting for our van transport. Going to our accommodation. To refresh, change outfits before the tour starts. 🥰😍
After a long hour of waiting for our van transport 🚐. Kuya Romeo arrived and one of our friends was named Juliet. We let her be seated at the passenger side. Due to being overwhelmed of teasing Kuya Romeo and Juliet because their names coincide with the Romance Novel "Romeo and Juliet" written by William Shakespear. As we passed by these beautiful creatures our friend Juliet said loudly "oh it's a sheep" and we all laughed until we cried because it was not a sheep it's a kine (a group of cows). It was a start for a great adventure ahead of us.
Our first stop was this beautiful Kayangan Lake. It's not the largest lake in Coron but the largest lake that the indigenous Tagbanua has opened up to tourism. So, there are other hidden lakes preserve by the tribes.
Getting there takes time but open seeing the view of the lake it always awes us to extremes. It's one of a jaw dropping sceneries of Coron, Palawan.
Our boatman drops us by this beautiful place. As you can see on those photos literally its mesmerizing. You can see the coral reefs just by the shore of the island. The area was really preserved to perfection by our mother nature. It was just below our boat, just really near. no need to dive deeper to see those beautiful corals and other living creatures of the sea.
After our day tour. We searched for food for dinner and we go to their park to see sunset. And I took a picture of myself with their signage proof of being there. 🤣 Because if no photo of your there, you've never been there. 😂 And we keep on strolling the area. And one guy got our attention.
He offered us tour packages and that was some of their list of the tour packages and the prices. And upon inquiring we all decided to have one and that we chose to go to The Black Island the next day.
After were able to pass by this establishment offering scuba diving sessions but we never tried it. On that photo that was the shipwreck that you can explore by scuba diving. Sad to say I wasn't able to experience scuba diving. That was the one I need to experience scuba diving. I wanted to go back.
This time after a long stroll, we finally found every one’s favorite, a restaurant where we can eat 🤣 After a tiring day and the next a head we need to recharge our stomachs.
We already hopped in our boat going to The Black Island. All were striking their best post for the photo.
Upon approaching the Island, we can see it clearly on how beautiful it was. I think it was named Black Island because of the stone or rock formation color; it was black.
By seeing the Black Island from afar. I never hesitated to took a photo of me with the Island. Even there was a risk of falling on the boat but I was being extra careful that time.
Were at the cave of the Black Island that place had two pools where you can swim in there. Our accredited tour guide took us photo from the top of the entrance of the cave. It was the place were Dyesebel Filipino TV series were shoot. Look at the view of the cave it's worth it that we got there, right?
At the entrance of the Cave. You need to take the stairs to get in. Again, taking photos for memories, to reminisce.

Upon exploring the Island, a saw, a trail going up. I never hesitated to saw the view from above. Aside from that because we have no drone that time. 😂 But it was all worth it going up you can see the beauty of the Island with the pristine waters. There was also a ship wreck there but it was only the skeleton of the big boat.

After being roasted under the sun. We need to quench our thirst also and re-energized. The food was already included on the package but if you want to go there better ask your tour guide if it was included on your package.
On our way home to mainland Coron. The photo was amazing, the photo can say it all by just seeing it.

The tour for Black Island was done and we need to quench our thirst. So, one of our friends just stayed on our homestay, she just told us to buy her food for dinner. After that we go directly to our favorite spot where we can buy affordable food for dinner. So, we bought food including for the one who just stayed at our homestay. After eating my other big sister told us that we quench our thirst with one bottle of beer but it took us 2 beer cases. We laughed at the convenient store due to drunkenness I can't think clearly. Many things happen that night like literally. Brown out or Black out took place for the whole area of Coron. It was there way of preserving electricity, I think.
My other friend bought one cigarette for us to try. When the blackout took place, she got 2 sticks of cigarettes from the stand of the store the owner wasn't aware. Another thing there was a Police patrolling the area. I got to the other side of the road and keep saluting the Police officer. 🤣😂 I was so dumb. Good thing the Police Officers are just passing by. After we are all drunk, we hail a motorcycle taxi with sidecar to send us home.
I never know that Rey Jan was still bringing other 2 bottle of Beer to our home stay and there I consume one cigarette. After having it I was like ready to sleep, I was drunk and I can't even think clearly due to the cigarette. The next day when I opened by wallet there are two cigarettes, I can't remember that I put those things in there. We all laughed with those experiences.
That was our adventure at Coron, Palawan.

Coron, Palawan is such a beauty! The rock formations look fantastic and amazing. The water are also clear, I'm so amaze how do they take care of it.

This is such a spectacular place! I would like to visit this place someday. The water is so clear and the cows are so cute heheh.
Ohh the cows not a sheep 😂🤣. Anyway that place really is amazing. It was a great place to unwind and distress.

Wow, the place was the best island and big adventure. It amazes me the view of that place. How I wish I could visit too.
If ever I will have my vacation there in PH, I will be going here in Coron and El Nido. Those are in my bucket list. Keep exploring!😇
