Let's go discover some hidden beauty in Aloguinsan Cebu.
Hello hivers! It's another day, another adventure and I'll bring you to another place here in Cebu. We'll be going to the seawater where we can see the refreshing view of nature as well as enjoy the view of the beach.
Headed to where?
We woke up around 7 in the morning and prepared our breakfast.
We were preparing the food yet we unsuccessfully made it since the fire doesn't go along with our plan🤣.
Instead, we had our breakfast at my brother-in-law's house since we were not at home. We spent our night at Pinamungajan, Cebu at the small hut in the woods.
After having breakfast I thought we were going home. It was about 10 in the morning when my partner decided to go swimming. Since we are minutes away from Aloguinsan, we decided to travel there.
The first plan is to go to Hidden Beach Resort.
As seen in the photo it will be 9 minutes away from our current location. We talked for a while and asked each other if we'd still go on with the plan and we agreed to continue it.
It was already 10 in the morning and luckily, the sun didn't show up brightly.
The weather was the same while we were on our way to Hidden Beach Resort.
There were thick cloud formations perfectly mixed with green fields.
Bugarak Beach Resort
Finally! We're almost there.
There's a signage on the highway to where the resort is located.
As we were on our way to the resort, we had a little conversation with the motorcycle driver there who was from the place and asked us where would be heading to. We then told the man and he replied that the Hidden Beach Resort was already closed 3 years ago but there is a beach beside that is open which is the Bugarak Beach Resort. He then asked us if we needed a tour guide or if we already had a table reserved in the place but we refused to have those because we were only planning to have a little dip in the sea and for us to save money.
As we were traveling to the place the scenic view of nature and how it was really different from the city amazes me.
There were only a few houses seen as you entered the place where the resort is located. The road was accessible because it was wide that cars could pass but some parts were muddy and had little holes.
We made a stop and parked our motorcycle. We were not yet in the place because we needed to walk a few distance to get to the place.
And we're here!!!
Bugarak Beach Resort is a public beach. No entrance fee and no corkage fee. This is a public beach resort. If you wish to have a table to use for your food or your things, you can have reservations or do walk-ins.
It is located at Purok 3, Bonbon, Aloguinsan Cebu.
Bugarak Beach Resort will offer you a fresh breath of nature and sea. The resort has a lot of mangrove trees. You will really feel refreshed by the ambiance it can offer and it's best to be here if it's high tide.
What made the place looks better and cleaner was that the ones who were the owner of the tables on the said beach were the one who took care of the place. They were responsible for cleaning the place because they could also benefit from the gift of nature.
When we were there we didn't rent a table, since it was low tide so we only used the roots to hang our things.
The seashore is quite long and wide because of the tide and maybe other beachgoers would not love seeing or staying at a place like this but for us, we enjoyed the place.
Yes! We were not able to dip our bodies in the water but we just loved the view and how we spent our time together talking, staying quiet, taking time for ourselves, and reflecting.
It's quarter to 11 and I felt hungry. The trip was unplanned so we were not able to bring food to the place. We then decided to go find food somewhere. I haven't documented the Aloguinsan Public Market where we were having our lunch for I felt the hotness of the sun and am too was hungry already 😅😅.
After eating our lunch we then proceed to our next stop.
Hermit's Cove Beach Resort
If Bugarak Beach Resort is less popular and fewer tourists or beachgoers that would feature the place, Hermit's Cove is the opposite. Hermit's Cove is one of the popular beach resorts in Aloguinsan Cebu.
Before you get to the place you can also see the magnificent view of the mountains and be amazed by the landscape on how nature gave its fair share of its true beauty.
Those are what you can see before you get to the entrance of Hermit's Cove.
This is what you can see at Hermit's Cove entrance.
There is a parking lot and in the registration and information area is where you will have your registration and pay for your entrance fee which is only a hundred pesos per head.
The pathway down to the resort is beautifully designed with an arch of plants and flowers.
Aside from enjoying the view and refreshing feeling while we were swimming, I also noticed a volcano hidden by the clouds. I forgot the name of that volcano but as my partner said it was a volcano found in Negros.
There was a time when the beauty of the whole volcano was seen but I was not able to capture it because the phone was away from me and I was busy enjoying myself swimming 😅.
That is all for the Hermit's Cove experience.

How was the experience?
You can save while traveling. As for our experience, if we were able to go out from our house planned or unplanned, we would take advantage of it. It is either we buy food or bring food to satisfy the hunger we feel. For as long as we have enjoyed the time, and the moment and make valuable memories it is priceless.
What makes you save less in traveling is that when you know where will be your destination and where you can get your food. Make sure to always know where you can save.
Also as a traveler always remember to leave no trace.
If you are looking for a place where you want to enjoy the sea all by yourself while enjoying the refreshing and scenic view of nature you can visit Hermit's Cove Beach Resort and Bugarak Beach Resort.
If you were to decide on my next adventure, where would be the next place that I'll explore?

Beautiful beach. Not the usual beach I see with all the mangroves. But I love the exclusivity feels of this beach.
Exactly. You can still feel the coolness of nature while you enjoy swimming at the sea.
It's a wonderful place, really peaceful, very nice photos, thank you.

Ive never been on this part of Cebu, the place is enticing to explore. Maybe soon I will visit this. Thank you for sharing @rhianmaker.
You'll surely love the place. Make your visit very soon🤣. While the beachgoers we're still busy with their works.
I've been to Hermit's Cove but never to Bugarak Beach Resort. Hmm. Adding this on my list. Seems like it has less crowd there despite being a public beach, noh? Hehe.
Maybe because we went there in low tide but the place is big, you can really enjoy the place even if it's way crowded.
