Introduction
When I arrive in Chachapoyas the first thing I visited was the Gocta waterfall because when I asked areas of the place what is the first thing I should visit they told me Gocta, however after visiting this place the first thing you should visit when you arrive at Chachapoyas is the valley of Yumbilla falls since there is a better adventure because you will see 5 waterfalls that are:
- Waterfall half hill
- crystal cataract
- Yumbilla Waterfall where you will observe its two great falls
- Waterfall Pavilion
- Chinaca Waterfall
You will also see its huge forest with its natural animals of the area.

We start the adventure from the chachapoyas terminal and from there we take a bus to the Pedro Ruiz district, from there we take a mototaxi towards the town of Cuispes.
Then we continue walking and we reach the second viewpoint called Pedro Mori who was the legacy he made as mayor, There is a seat to rest and a beautiful view of the boque that surrounds us on the walk.
Then we arrive at the first waterfall called Medio Cerro, where you can hear a healing sound of the waterfall, and like a natural shower that falls from the top, very beautiful to take photos.
Then we continued and another waterfall called crystal awaited us, since it is crystalline in its maximum expression where at any time of the year always this crystal.
Continuing the walk awaits us the viewpoint of yumbilla its greatness when one looks at it is left with mouth open for its beauty and grandeur, there I stayed camping since the night came and it was raining
In Cuispes there is a tourist office where there you pay S / 10 soles and from there start walking about 5 km more called to chuzata, once you get there for the right side we start our way towards yumbilla.
Upon entering the adventure our view was surrounded by giant trees with their huge roots that were noticeable on our way, there we lost internet connection but there is better connection with our body, mind and soul with nature.
Walking the lion Beethoveen was happy and exploring and smelling wild animals of nature. After an exciting walk we arrive at the first viewpoint called Yausobalsa where you can look at the great view of the flora and fauna and vegetation of the area.
watching the sunset with the sound and view of the Yumbilla Waterfall was luxurious, where it was my first experience camping in a forest surrounded by wild animals, it was an absolute peace full of positive energy.
At dawn I simply thanked for a unique awakening next to nature, we left the place clean and then I approached the yumbilla waterfall from the closest simply magical day, I could touch and drink its blessed water that falls in abundance with that nature showed me that life wealth is unlimited for everyone.
Then we returned to go down to the second fall of yumbilla where there you could bathe and I wanted to bathe with its blessed water.

The descent is slope where I found rope and began to descend with the beethoven lion which we arrived with a lot of adrenality since it did not make the descent sweat, after going down we arrived at the second fall of the yumbilla waterfall where you feel the power and presence as if I had life, I stripped off my clothes and Threw myself to bathe, the water was frozen but it was a unique experience to feel that the waters of the yumbilla waterfall ran through my whole body and renewed and healed me with its unique energy.
After a refreshing swim we return to climb again with the rope and continue to the next pavilion waterfall.
Arriving at the paella waterfall there was not much water because it was not rainy season yet, but it is an ideal place to take photos.
From there take back to the town of cuispes to have lunch and regrezar to pedro ruiz and from there to chachapoyas.

Introduccion
Cuando llegue a chachapoyas lo primero que visite fue la catarata gocta ya que cuando pregunte a zonas del lugar que es lo primero que debo visitar me decian Gocta, sin embargo despues de visitar este lugar lo primero que debes visitar al llegar a chachapoyas es el valle de cataratas Yumbilla ya que hay mejor aventura porque veras 5 cataratas que son:
- Catarata medio cerro
- catarata cristal
- Catarata Yumbilla donde observaras su dos grandes caidas
- Catarata Pabellon
- Catarata Chinaca
Además veras su enorme bosque con sus animales naturales de la zona.

Iniciamos la aventura desde el terminal de chachapoyas y de ahí tomamos colectivo rumbo al distrito Pedro Ruiz, de ahí tomamos una mototaxi rumbo a pueblo de Cuispes.
En Cuispes hay una oficina de turismo donde ahí se paga S/10 soles y de ahí comence a caminar unos 5 kilometros mas llamado a chuzata, una vez que llegue ahi para el lado derecho iniciamos nuestro camino rumbo a yumbilla.
Al ingresar la aventura nuestra vista estaba rodeado de gigantes arboles con su enormes raíces que se hacían notar en nuestro camino, ahí perdimos conexión de internet pero hay mejor conexión con nuestro cuerpo, mente y alma con la naturaleza.
Caminando el león Beethoveen estaba feliz y explorando y oliendo a animales salvajes de la naturaleza. Luego de emocionante caminata llegamos al primer mirador llamado Yausobalsa donde se puede mirar la grandiosa vista de la flora y fauna y vegetación de la zona.
Despues seguimos caminando y llegamos al segundo mirador llamado Pedro Mori quien fue el legado que realizo como alcalde, Ahi hay asiento para descansar y una vista hermoza del boque que nos rodea en la caminata.
Luego llegamos a la primera catarata llamada Medio cerro, donde se escucha un sonido sanador de la cascada, y como una ducha natural que cae desde lo alto, muy hermoso para tomarse fotos.
Luego continuamos y nos esperaba otra catarata llamada cristal, ya que es cristalina en su maxima expresion donde en cualquier epoca del año siempre esta cristal.
Continuando la caminata nos espera el mirador de yumbilla su grandeza cuando uno lo mira se queda con boca abierta por su belleza y grandeza, ahi me quede acampar ya que nos llegaba la noche y estaba lloviendo
contemplar el atardecer con el sonido y vista de la catarata yumbilla fue de lujo, donde fue mi primera experiencia acampando en un bosque rodeado de animales salvajes, fue una paz absoluta lleno de energia positiva.
Al amanecer simplemente agradecí por un despertar unico a lado de la naturaleza, dejamos limpio el lugar y luego me acerque a la catarata yumbilla desde lo mas cercano simplemente magico dia, pud tocar y beber su bendita agua que cai en abundancia con eso la naturaleza me mostraba que la vida la riqueza es ilimitada para todos.
Luego regresamos para bajar a la segunda caida de yumbilla donde ahi se podia bañar y yo deseaba bañarme con su bendita agua.
La bajada es pendiente donde encontre soga y comence a descender con el leon beethoven lo cual llegamos con mucho adrenalidad ya que no hizo sudar la bajada, luego de bajar llegamos a la segunda caida de la catarata yumbilla donde se siente el poderio y presencia como si tuviera vida, yo me despoje de mi ropa y me lance a bañarme, el agua estaba heladita pero fue una experiencia unica sentir que las aguas de la catarata yumbilla recorra todo mi cuerpo y me renueve y sane con su energia unica.
Luego de un baño refrescante regresamos para volver escalar con la soga y seguir a la siguiente catarata pabellon.
LLegue a la catarata pabello no habia mucha agua debido a que no era temporada de lluvia aun, pero es un lugar ideal para tomarce fotos.
De ahi tome regreso al pueblo de cuispes para almorzar y regrezar a pedro ruiz y de ahi a chachapoyas.
Asi termino un trecking por el bosque de yumbilla y una experiencia que nunca olvidare aqui comparto en video para que lo puedes ver en familia:
