I'm a big fan of bad weather - or at least not perfect weather - camping or travelling. As long as it's not crowded I'm happy. Absolutely stunning place. The water looks freezing.
We didn't do any lake camping this time round in Tassie but I was absolutely gutted to find out that one of our favourite lakes was closed because some idiot had stored a heap of old oil in a drum which leaked into a creek and then fed into the lake. Honestly is there no end to people's idiocy?
This was early summer and you can see snow on the ground. It snowed while we were there too. Water is indeed freezing but my nine year old doesn’t care. See her pants? It’s all wet :) boots were all soaking wet ;)
I'd jump in with her haha!
