Good morning to all my beloved hive friends ♥️
In this post I will share a story from my trip to a reservoir called Nulop reservoir, I did the trip yesterday, precisely in the afternoon which at that time I felt very very curious about the reservoir, because maybe I haven't visited it again for several months. On the trip I did it alone because some of my friends were busy with their respective activities, but even though I did this trip alone, it didn't matter to me because even though I was alone I could still find a point of satisfaction in a trip.
Nulop Reservoir located in Jinip District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province is indeed not too far from my house, it might only take about 45 minutes by motorbike, so this not too far trip allows me to go alone. On this trip, I also chose village road access which if I went through the village road might take longer than if I used the highway, but there are several reasons why I chose the village road, namely I wanted to enjoy the beautiful evening scenery and also the natural beauty along the way.
There are so many natural beauties that I can witness while passing through this village road, without realizing it I have arrived at the reservoir yard. Before actually arriving at the reservoir, I had time to stop for a moment from a distance to take some pictures showing the current condition of the Nulop reservoir.
After that, I immediately turned my motorbike back on and started driving towards a hut that was a resting place for visitors there, but the hut building was also built very uniquely with several paint decorations that made this hut look very attractive.
Arriving in front of the hut, I immediately walked and took a short break on the hut while eating some supplies that I bought on the way. The atmosphere around the hut felt so cool because there were several large trees that blocked direct sunlight from entering the hut, making the atmosphere even cooler and calmer. Plus, the breeze from the direction of the reservoir made the atmosphere even more lively.
And after taking a short break in the hut, I started walking along the reservoir area.
This reservoir used to be a very popular tourist spot a few years ago, because of its location in a remote area and its very beautiful natural nuances, this place was very popular with visitors at that time, but now the Nulop reservoir tourist spot is getting quieter day by day, it can be seen on the edge of the reservoir there are several chairs or huts for visitors who visit this place, but you can all see from some of the pictures above that show the huts look quiet.
It is very unfortunate that a place as beautiful as this is now deserted of visitors, whereas from this place we can enjoy many natural beauties such as the charm of the reservoir which is still pristine and some trees behind it. And during my visit yesterday I also took the time to climb up the hill on the edge of the reservoir to be able to enjoy the beautiful charm of the reservoir from the top of the hill.
Even though I couldn't see the entire reservoir, from the top of this hill I could see some of the beauty that the Nulop reservoir has to offer.
After being satisfied enjoying the beauty offered by this reservoir, I started to go down the hill and started walking towards the bridge above the reservoir, this bridge is a connecting bridge between the villages around there, and is one of the bridges that can be accessed by humans to travel, however, the bridge can only be accessed by two-wheeled vehicles because its size is too small so that cars cannot pass through it.
And beside the bridge, there are also steps built to be able to go down the bridge hill, where if we go down the steps, we will see a very magnificent dam with a very strong water fountain.
The strong flow of water made some splashes of water reach where I was standing. And the water in this reservoir is one of the water sources for residents around Jenieub sub-district, where the water in the Nulop reservoir has many benefits such as being a water source for farmers in the fields and water for fish farmers.
And from the bridge I can also see the charm of the reservoir which is visible with several towering mountains behind it.
When we are at the Nulop reservoir, we can not only see the charm of the reservoir because around the reservoir there are also several mountains that appear very close to the reservoir, which can be said that the mountains around the place are also a source of life for farmers around the place.
Of course, this is a blessing for the people who live around the reservoir, where they can get fish from the reservoir and grow crops in the mountainous area, so this is a combination that can produce extraordinary benefits, this is a collaboration between humans and nature that is clearly visible and can also be felt.
And when I was about to go home, I took the time to capture some of the beauty of the land on the side of the road around the reservoir.
