Journey to Bireuen City and Ends at a burst dam in a remote area

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

This time I will tell you about a journey that initially felt very pleasant until finally turned sad because of natural factors. This experience began when I was traveling to the city of Bireuen, initially this trip did not have a definite destination because at that time I just followed my heart's desire, but when I arrived at the edge of the city I also had time to stop for a while at a building called a prayer room to rest for a moment, coincidentally at that time the sun was very hot.

Initially, I stopped by this prayer room just to rest, but after I looked around, I began to be captivated by the beauty of the prayer room building, starting from its architecture that looks extraordinary to the combination of paint colors that really tempted me, so that after I felt I had rested enough, I immediately took the time to capture some of the beauty of this prayer room building.

This place looks very clean, the building has a modern feel but still has a slightly classic architectural value, in my opinion this is a very perfect combination in today's era, and look at the combination of paint colors, it's really interesting, isn't it?. When I was outside the prayer room building, I was very curious about the conditions inside this building, but considering that at that time I was a little dirty so I chose not to enter the inside of this building.

Not only does the building look beautiful, the courtyard of the prayer room is also very clean and has several park that I think are very interesting to look at.

However, when I was busy enjoying and capturing the beauty offered by this place, suddenly I got a call from one of my friends who was in a neighboring village, and he told me about a natural phenomenon that I think is very detrimental, namely the collapse of the dam in Hagu village, Peudada sub-district, a little information about the dam, the Hagu dam is a dam that holds river water to be channeled to irrigation leading to the residents' rice fields, and from the news about the collapsed dam, it can be concluded that this incident will be very detrimental, especially for humans.

After hearing this information, I immediately took the initiative to immediately travel to the Hagu Dam, but to travel there of course I had to turn back towards my destination, and that would take a long time, because the time needed might be around 20 minutes from the city of Bireuen. However, I still decided to visit the dam, and after traveling for about 15 minutes, I finally arrived at the center of Peudada District.

I didn't linger in this place, because my curiosity about the dam was getting bigger. Initially the road to the dam was still quite good until finally when I entered the village road I had to go through a damaged and unpaved road, but about 7 minutes of travel I finally arrived at the dam location.

Upon arriving at the location, I immediately looked for a place to park my motorbike, and after that I immediately walked towards the dam to see it with my own eyes, and it turned out to be true, as the information my friend had conveyed, this dam broke due to the very strong river current and the main cause was the continuous rain.

There are many negative impacts from the dam collapse, and one of the direct impacts is the occurrence of a fairly severe landslide next to the river, and from the landslide a new river was immediately created which also has a large size, but in my opinion this used to be a small ditch now it has become very large, of course this looks very scary.

But fortunately, the responsible party has come to the location, and at the dam location there are already several heavy equipment working, hopefully this bad situation can be resolved soon.

I was a little curious to get closer to the broken dam, but there were some people who forbade me, but luckily there was an officer there who also wanted to see it, so I immediately followed the officer.

The condition of this dam is very bad and it will take a very long time to repair this dam, especially since it is currently the rainy season, and the river water is very large and very fast flowing.

After seeing the dam that broke, I felt relieved, and my curiosity was completely answered, so I immediately decided to go home. On the way home, I suddenly remembered a suspension bridge that was very popular in this area and the bridge was called Tutu Ayon.So I decided to take the time to visit this bridge first.

In fact, this is the longest suspension bridge in this area or more precisely in Peudada District. This suspension bridge has a floor made of wood. Now, its condition is also very concerning because it looks like some irons are bent and the floor also has several pieces of wood that are already hollow.

I also took the time to walk towards the middle of this bridge, it looks like the water in this river is also very dirty and murky, but this place has not changed much, the natural feel is still very much felt.

But I didn't stay long in this place, because when I was satisfied enjoying every beauty offered by this place, I immediately rushed home, and this place became the last place I visited on my trip this time.

Well, those are some pictures and stories from me in this post, I really hope that this post can provide entertainment for all of my friends. All of these pictures are purely my own, I took this picture using an Infinix 10 Pro cellphone and edited this picture using the Lightroom application.

See you again in my next post ♥️

Hey @riyat you are welcome. Thanks for using @worldmappin 😘

What an amazing trip my friend I saw some really amazing photos of buildings so amazingly interesting ❤️

Thank you very much for your support and kind comments my friend. ♥️

I'm afraid of bridges, even the shorter ones. There's no way I’d ever climb that one that's showing signs of damage—not for leisure or work.

The photos of the prayer house are stunning; I can only imagine how beautiful the interior must be.

Wishing you a great weekend!

Haha I also feel nervous when crossing this bridge, this bridge will shake when it receives a jolt.
Thank you very much for your support and kind comments my friend.

I agree with you about the color combination of the building. It looks attractive. And the bridge its pass for me 😁
