I feel very happy and satisfied because I have succeeded in completing my main goal of traveling around this freshwater sea. In my opinion, this is a very challenging and surprising journey, because I have never been through this road before, and of course this is my first trip around this freshwater sea. There are many things that I get when I first do this trip, starting from the road that is still very foreign to me, to my success in finding several places that have extraordinary beauty.
How do you feel when you visit a place you have never been to before?
Do you feel strange and surprised?
If yes, then you are the same as me, especially when we succeed in finding some beautiful places, of course it becomes an extraordinary happiness and satisfaction.
This is a continuation of yesterday's post, when I had managed to see the pier village from a distance and after that I immediately continued my journey to visit the village, and I also had time to stop at several places there to rest and eat, until after everything was finished we immediately continued our journey to return to the city of Takengon. At first I thought that I could no longer enjoy the beautiful scenery, but it turned out not to be so, because in the last seconds I was still able to find several places that had natural beauty that was certainly interesting to see and even to capture.
I stopped on the side of the road because I saw a very wide expanse of rice fields, this expanse of rice fields was right in front of my eyes, and because my position at that time was on an uphill road, so I could almost see this expanse of rice fields perfectly. And a little fact about the population in the city of Takengon is, 80% of the population here work as farmers, and the most identical to the city of Takengon is coffee, so the city of Takengon is the city that produces the most coffee in Aceh Province, so it is not surprising that the people here really use their land for farming.
After I captured the beauty of the expanse of rice fields, I continued my journey, and the journey was accompanied by a feeling of happiness, we even laughed on the motorbike while telling about our achievements at that time which had almost completed this journey.
My distance to the pier village is indeed close, but the view of the pier village is also increasingly invisible because it is covered by mountains. Considering that the pier village is in the middle of a valley, it is not surprising that this place is a bit closed and can only be seen from certain places.From this distance I could even see the windows of people's houses, maybe I only needed another 10 minutes to actually reach the village, so rather than wasting time, we immediately continued our journey.
From a distance, this village looks very close, but once I arrived in this village, I realized one thing, it turns out that the houses here are quite far apart. And this is where I can still see some things that are still traditional, such as residents harvesting rice manually, cutting grass for cows, and even some houses that still look like traditional houses, of course this is a sight that I have not seen for a long time, so this is really a sight that makes me flashback to the past.
Plus the beauty of the mountains that can still be seen from this village, makes this place truly beautiful and feels like being in the past. I can't express my feelings fully here because I don't know how to express them, but I hope you can understand what I mean by all this.
And when I arrived in this village, I immediately looked for a food stall to fill my very hungry stomach, and to rest. However, there were not many places that I visited in this village because this place was like my own village, and I only spent about 2 hours in this village.
After being satisfied in the pier village, I immediately continued my journey to the city, and this is where luck was again on my side, namely I managed to find a beautiful and very interesting natural view.
There is a village visible at the foot of the mountain, making this a sight that is a must to enjoy, and what really amazed me about this place is the mountains which are so numerous and so high.
Apart from that, the sea view is also no less beautiful.
This is a natural view that might be the last view that I can witness around this tawar sea, and I already know it, so I really focus on enjoying this beauty.
I spent about 30 minutes just to be able to enjoy this beautiful view, and after that I immediately continued my journey towards the city. And this will also be my last post about my journey around this tawar sea.
