Yes, well, my East Asian friend ...

"I feel like I lack the confidence to survive in that vast and merciless nature!"

... you would have been well-advised to seriously consider this maybe 150 years ago. But today? With all of our fancy new toys (think smartphones, etc.)?

Not to worry ...

Except in the winter ... On the wrong roads ... At the wrong time ... Hahaha! 😉

Thank you for stopping by and letting me know you enjoyed this post! 👋

Dear my elder bro, steve!

I assumed you crossed the North American continent using your smartphone's Global Positioning System!

I have a smart phone, but since I am visually impaired, I mainly just make phone calls.

I am always overwhelmed by the vastness and wild natural environment of the North American continent!
I am in awe of the huge grizzlies and moose that live on the North American continent!😨

If I were to see a huge grizzly living in North America in person, I would be terrified!😱

I thought Americans conquered the New World because they were fearless!

I hope your health and long life!

While I have seen a grizzly bear, fortunately it was at a considerable distance from me. It is one animal you do not want to have a ... "close encounter" ... with, as you would be unlikely to survive it.

My son and I did have a "close encounter" with a black bear, but it left us alone, thankfully. The predatory nature of grizzlies is well known, by comparison. And that is the reason there are not that many of them, in most areas.

Our forefathers killed them, without mercy, wiping them out ...

Moose, on the other hand, are more common. I have had a number of encounters with them. Also not an animal to have a close encounter with ... If I were to choose, however, I would far rather have to deal with a moose than a grizzly bear.
