RE: Souvenirs fair in Ukraine / Ярмарок сувенірів в Україні(En/Ua)

in Worldmappin2 years ago (edited)

Indeed, it is a pity that the traditional fairs are slowly receding into the past. But in Italy, weekly fairs, which are called mercato here, are very popular. The prices at those fairs are slightly higher than the prices in the supermarket. But the quality of goods is much higher. Everything is fresh, straight from the garden. And Italians like to buy vegetables and fruits and various ready-made products at the fairs, so that they can sit down to the dinner table straight from the fair. This is already their tradition!
After shopping, neighbors go to a cafe to drink a cup of coffee and chat. Communication is everything for Italians! They do not have the habit of going to each other like in Ukraine.
And when meeting on the street or at the market, they are happy to talk.
