Last week, I availed my annual leaves and took a break from work to get mental relaxation. For me, mental relaxation is travelling and getting out of daily routine. I usually travel out of the city once in a year to get fresh air and have change of environment and atmosphere. This time, I headed towards my community place in Islamabad and booked bus tickets through online system, it was a nice experience which I shared in my post here.
There are too many bus services from Karachi to Rawalpindi/Islamabad but I was looking for an excellent services with least rates. Luckily, I found Kainat Travels who were giving discounted rates if booked online. I availed this opportunity and bought tickets in PKR 5100/- instead of 5700/- whereas other bus services were at 6500/- to 7500/- so I was happy to save money in this thing however, I only had traveled in Kainat Travels once which was not a very good experience though but it was not a big journey, it was from Rawalpindi to Faisalabad which is of just 4 hours.
I had a company, a friend and a jolly person with whom I have travelled a lot in the past and it was always nice. We both reached bus station on time and booked our luggage. Bus was looking nice however, booking counter and waiting area was just fine, need to improve things out there.
Karachi to Rawalpindi by bus is not an easy ride, it is almost 1400 km and takes around 20-22 hours by bus to complete this long journey. Not everyone is comfortable by bus for such long routes however, I am always ready and comfortable with any type of travelling because I just love and enjoy travelling whether it is by bus, train or plane.
Seats were comfortable with extra leg space, each of the seat was tagged with tab having movies and much more to enjoy the ride and pass the time. This service is not available in most of the well-known bus services. Air condition was working fine and it was well needed because it’s too hot all the way to Rawalpindi, dry and hot weather.
At around midnight, we asked bus hostess about the next step to have dinner. We didn’t know that Kainat Travel offer Dinner and breakfast to its travelers free of cost means it in included in the ticket. Wow this was something new to me because in past experience, I didn’t see such service in this fare.
At around 2 am, bus stopped at Moro and we were informed to have seat inside the hotel after getting fresh from washrooms. It was really nice to see that waiters holding trays with different cuisines and asking to take one of your choice along with one piece of bread. This is what bus is offering and if you need something more, that will be charged.
We had lentils and vegetables with bread and it was not that bad, I mean I should say it was a good dinner for such a long journey. We enjoyed our time there.
Time passes by and we skipped night, I tried to capture some sceneries and village pictures.
Now, its time to have breakfast. Our bus stopped at Multan. Once again, we were informed to have seats inside the restaurant where we were provided with chickpea curry, paratha and a cup of tea. Wow this is a wonderful experience, I really liked it. Disciplined and in a proper way.
Our last stop was at Bhera, OMG!! it was too hot out there. We bought chilled juice packets and hurriedly ran back to the bus.
At around 17:00 we reached our destination. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with Kainat Travels and we really enjoyed travelling because of their services. Superb and amazing services in such low fare, highly recommended if anyone interested in travelling by bus.

Dinner at midnight? Mmm odd.
I’m guessing lentils are the flat pancake-looking thing snack you were served by the guy in blue color standing. Not sure I’ve heard it until now.
I love traveling myself, but I don’t do it often because I can’t afford it yet. I hope to be able to travel more in the future. Enjoy your leave, man. And share more of your journey with us:)
yeah that was too late for dinner but thats their timing and they only stop at their designated points that is why they are able to manage time and make sure to reach at destination on given time.
Lentils or in local we say it Daal, is the one with Okra on the table. The one which a man in blue is serving is Paratha, flat unleavened bread,, common for breakfast in SouthAsia.
Travelling is very important for me in order to get fresh and mental relaxation, I hope you loot handsome hives to get a travel plan soon. Yeah, I have few other places to share and will do it in couple of days. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a wonderful comment :)
