With God's blessing I lived a beautiful experience in participating in the living Stations of the Cross of Christ our Redeemer, and in this post I will tell you how it went!!!!
El viernes santo fui al viacrucis viviente organizado por la comunidad parroquial de la iglesia Cristo Rey de Socopó-estado-Barinas/Venezuela. En el cual fue protagonizado por los jóvenes de mi grupo Jucris de la iglesia; conjuntamente, apoyándonos el sacerdote Alexis y los grupos apostolados.
On Good Friday I went to the living Stations of the Cross organized by the parish community of the Cristo Rey Church in Socopó-State-Barinas/Venezuela. It was led by the young people of my group Jucris of the church; together with the support of the priest Alexis and the apostolic groups.
La actividad se inicio a las 9:30am desde el Restaurante el Arepaso que se encuentra ubicado en la troncal 5 cerca del puente de Socopó con la primera estación, siendo responsables nuestro grupo Jucris, y ahí partimos hacia el barrio el Libertador el cual sería la segunda estación frente a la escuela básica El Libertador; la cual, fue organizada por el grupo juvenil Corazones Ardientes.
The activity started at 9:30am from the Arepaso Restaurant located on the Trunk 5 near the Socopó bridge with the first station, being responsible for our group Jucris, and there we left to the Libertador neighborhood which would be the second station in front of the basic school El Libertador, which was organized by the youth group Corazones Ardientes.
Continuamos el recorrido por el barrio la Trinidad, donde se llevo la cuarta estación y luego seguimos hasta la esquina de mi adorado gimnasio el Marques, allí realizamos la quinta estación.
We continued the tour through the Trinidad neighborhood, where the fourth station took place and then we continued to the corner of my beloved Marques gymnasium, where we made the fifth station.
Avanzamos hacia el barrio Simón Bolívar donde se hizo la sesta estación; continuando, subiendo por el barrio los naranjos en la capilla de la legión de María, se realizo la séptima estación cerca de mi amado hogar.
We advanced towards the Simón Bolívar neighborhood where the seventh station was made; continuing up through the neighborhood of Los Naranjos in the chapel of the Legion of Mary, the seventh station was made near my beloved home.
Cruzamos hacia el sector del Barrio Obrero en el cual se hizo, la octava estación; y al pasar frente a la clínica Coromoto realizaron la novena estación y ya culminando la caminata nos dirigimos hacia el frente de la iglesia, allí se dramatizo la decima estación y en el estacionamiento finalizaron con el resto de las estaciones del viacrucis.
We crossed to the sector of Barrio Obrero where the eighth station was made, and passing in front of the Coromoto clinic they made the ninth station and culminating the walk we went to the front of the church, there the tenth station was dramatized and in the parking lot ended with the rest of the stations of the cross.
Esta actividad me dejo un gran mensaje, que Jesús dio su vida por amor a nosotros, por salvarnos y nunca desampararnos.
This activity left me with a great message, that Jesus gave his life out of love for us, to save us and never forsake us.
