Hello everyone!
Varenna is a small town located on Lake Como in northern Italy. The population is just over 800 people, so you can meet more tourists than residents here, especially during the tourist season. You can get here in various ways, by land, by train or by ferry. I arrived in Varenna by ferry from Bellagio.

Varenna to mała miejscowość położona nad jeziorem Como w północnych Włoszech. Liczba mieszkańców to niewiele ponad 800 osób, tak więc można tutaj spotkać więcej turystów niż mieszkańców, szczególnie w sezonie turystycznym. Można tutaj się dostać na różne sposoby, drogą lądową, pociągiem czy promem. Ja przybyłem do Varenny promem z Bellagio.
After getting off the ferry, we reach Via Imbarcadero. You can immediately notice that this is a popular place among motorcyclists.
Po zejściu z promu trafiamy na ulicę Via Imbarcadero. Można od razu zauważyć iż jest to popularne miejsce wśród motocyklistów.
Next to it is the small square Piazza Martiri.
Obok znajduje się mały plac Piazza Martiri.

The Olivedo Hotel building stands out on the square.
Przy placu wyróżnia się budynek hotelu Olivedo.
My friends and I had a small stop here to plan further visits to this town.
Razem z przyjaciółmi mieliśmy tutaj mały przystanek aby zaplanować sobie dalsze zwiedzanie tej miejscowości.
For further sightseeing, we took a picturesque route (Largo Enzo Venini) along the waterfront towards the south.
Na dalsze zwiedzanie ruszyliśmy malowniczą trasą (Largo Enzo Venini) wzdłuż nabrzeża w kierunku południowym.

Kolejny nasz przystanek i kolejne planowanie dalszego zwiedzania.
In addition to visiting the waterfront, the most popular part of Varenna, you can also climb one of the hills to see the ruins of the Vezio Castle (Castello di Vezio). For me, Varenna was the third town I visited that day and I had enough strength for 1/3 of the walk up the hill (partly visible stairs). However, I managed to look at the town, lake and mountains from above, which was a cool experience.
Poza zwiedzaniem nabrzeża, czyli najbardziej popularnej części Varenny, można również wejść na jedno ze wzgórz aby obejrzeć ruiny zamku Vezio (Castello di Vezio). Dla mnie Varenna była to trzecia miejscowość, którą zwiedzałem tego dnia i sił starczyło mi na 1/3 spaceru pod górę (częściowo widocznymi schodami). Jednak udało mi się spojrzeć na miasteczko, jezioro i góry z wysokości, co było fajnym doświadczeniem.
