Waterfront in Lecco on Lake Como

Hello everyone!

I invite you for a short photo walk along the waterfront in Lecco, which is located on Lake Como (south-eastern part). My friends and I came here to change to the ferry and sail to another place to visit. After purchasing the tickets, we had some time to walk along the lake shore and take a few photos as souvenirs. The walk was short, about 300 meters one way.

Zapraszam na krótki foto spacer po nabrzeżu w Lecco, które znajduje się nad jeziorem Como (południowo-wschodnia część). Razem z przyjaciółmi przyszliśmy tutaj aby przesiąść się na prom i popłynąć do kolejnego miejsca do zwiedzania. Po zakupie biletów mieliśmy trochę czasu aby przejść się nad brzegiem jeziora i zrobić kilka zdjęć na pamiątkę. Spacer był krótki, ponieważ miał ok 300 metrów w jedną stronę.

The ferry terminal from which we took the ferry to the next town, Bellagio.

Terminal promowy z którego wypłynęliśmy promem do następnego miasteczka Bellagio.

View towards the south. The shore is in the form of an arc because we are located in a bay.

Widok w kierunku południowym. Brzeg jest w formie łuku, ponieważ znajdujemy się w zatoczce.

The view towards the north-west, i.e. where we will take the ferry later.

Widok w kierunku północno-zachodnim, czyli tam gdzie później popłyniemy promem.

You can't see it in the photo, but between the visible mountain (Monte Barro is 922 m high) and Lecco (the part on the left in the photo) is the Adda River. At the foot of the mountain (in the photo on the right), on the other side of the river, lies the town of Magrate.

Na zdjęciu tego nie widać, ale pomiędzy widoczną górą (Monte Barro ma 922 m wysokości) a Lecco (na zdjęciu część z lewej strony) jest rzeka Adda. U podnóża góry (na zdjęciu z prawej strony) po drugiej stronie rzeki leży miejscowość Magrate.

The peaks of the mountains visible in the background are over 1,200 m high. The view of the lake from them must be wonderful.

Szczyty gór widocznych w tle mają ponad 1200 m wysokości. Widok z nich na jezioro musi być wspaniały.

Since we are in a bay by the lake, there must also be various boats and yachts.

Skoro jesteśmy w zatoczce nad jeziorem to muszą też być różne łódki i jachty.

Gorgeous place and your photos look good. I can see a Ferris wheel on one of your photos. Is there a fairground there?

Thank. We haven't gotten to that point, so I'm not 100% sure. I suspect there was a fairground there during the summer.

We visited the lake Lugano last weekend which is nearby the lake Como and the surroundings are so similar. I love it! 😊

Yes, these mountain lakes are beautiful places. My only regret is that I didn't have the opportunity to see it from one of the mountain peaks.
