A Historical place hiran minar (Tomb of Deer)

in Worldmappin2 days ago (edited)

Hello guys. Hope you all are well. I am here after a long time with a very Historical Hiran Minar (Tomb of Deer). One week ago my friends decided to go to that historical place and I immediately agreed with them to go to Shekhupura. The Tomb of Deer is two hour drive from here so we set out early in the morning so that we could visit Hiran Minar well before the crowds and take some good photos. All my friends had visited this historical site before but I visited this beautiful and historical side for the first time so I was very excited.

When we entered through the main entrance of Hiran Minar, we saw a big vehicle meant for people who cannot walk much as this place covers a huge area. We decided to visit it on foot so that we can take some beautiful pictures. There were very few people there in the morning and it was a good opportunity. There were plenty of plants and they were beautifully designed.

When I saw the pavilion from the distance, I gave a shout of joy and I was eager to go to it but it is still far away from me. You can also see the picture above that I took a picture of it from a distance and there is a dry tree in the picture which I found very ancient and with this dry tree pavilion gave a very beautiful view.

When I got a little closer to the pavilion, I saw a huge pond around the pavilion and my friend @tahastories1 told me that it was an artificial pond and I was very surprised to know how difficult it would be to dig such a big pond with such depth. This pool gives us an idea of the strength of the people of olden times, how hardworking they were. The sun was quite good that day and I took countless pictures.

Four rooms were built on the four sides of this pavilion and four doors were made in each room. If we look at the pavilion from above, these four rooms add to the beauty of the pavilion and the pond. The ceilings and walls of these rooms were also carved, which was the culture of ancient times.

You can see in the picture below that these stairs have been rebuilt. The Punjab government is spending a lot of money to maintain this Hiran Minar so that it remains a beautiful place for people to visit. Renovation work was still going on that day but the most interesting thing is that the place is being renovated in the same old ways and clay was used to build these stairs.

This is me and I was feeling hot because I was wearing a thick sweater. When I left home in the morning, the weather was cold, but here the sun came out and the weather warmed up. I wanted to take a bath in that pond but I don't know how to swim and it's too deep.😅

Pavilion was built on the east side of the tower and was built 13 years after the construction of the minar. A small canal was also dug for the water of this pond which passes nearby. After its construction, the Mughal Emperor made many changes to make it more beautiful. You can see in the picture below that on a board there is some information about tomb and this pavilion in Urdu language.

It is the main entrance to pavilion and local travelers are not allowed inside it and there are stairs inside to go up. I was just capturing every beautiful scene and looking at the beautiful carvings that have been done on the walls and ceilings and it is really admirable. I love the old time carvings and I always capture such carvings.

Here I was trying to take a good photo from the front of the pavilion through in the iron bars of the gate. My friends were always a few steps ahead of me as I stayed behind every time to take pictures and that time they were calling me to go to the tomb of deer.

The minaret has been built right in front of the pavilion. This tower was built by the Mughal emperor in memory of the deer and the deer is buried under this minaret. In fact, from this place the king had caught a deer and that deer soon left its wild habits and adopted the habits of a domestic animal. That deer was very dear to the king and he was very sorry for his death and this minaret was built in the memory of that deer.

Around the minaret are signs of deer antlers, indicating that a deer is buried in it. The length of this minaret is about 103 feet and its width is about 33 feet. You can see in the picture below that @moaz-sabir took a very nice picture of me at the entrance of the minarat and I thank him for that.

@tahastories1 told me another very amazing thing that I want to share with you guys that sugar and different pulses were used in the construction of this minaret so that it can last long and that is the reason why it is still standing in the right condition even after passing hundreds of years and this is a very amazing thing for me. I took some pictures of its walls and I was looking at them closely to see how ancient these walls are.

This is again me. It is said that this minaret had two more floors and it had small villages near it and that's why some soldiers disappeared two floors in one night and it is an amazing thing. There is also a well with the minaret which has now dried up and an iron net has been placed over it.

These are my friends and we were deciding to sit on the boat at that time. They were charging 200 rupees for a boat which is not much. The Strength is needed to propel the boat and we had already walked a lot but my feet started to move faster with the excitement of getting a closer look at the pavilion.

We went a little closer to this domed gate and saw that there were stairs going up on both sides and that too was an amazing thing. Our boat was heading towards this dome with the flow of water and we were afraid that if our boat got caught in it, we might have trouble, so we did not think it advisable to go too close.

My friends were taking a picture of us from far away and we were all using our mobiles carefully because if the mobile fell in this pond it would be impossible to find it. It was really satisfying and enjoyable to see this pavilion up close. It is very surprising that despite the passage of several hundred years, the pavilion does not have any damage due to water and it proves to be stronger of the pavilion.

On the way back we climbed a big tree and took a picture to make a beautiful memory. We spent some time sitting on that tree and had a few conversations about the Hiran Minar (Tomb of Deer). I really enjoyed visiting Hiran Minar and we spent about two hours here. I hope you also enjoyed reading about the history of Hiran Minar and my beautiful day. Don't forget to give me your opinion about this historical place.
