Hello guys. Hope you all are well. I am here with a very historical place and its history. Two weeks ago my cousin decided to visit a very ancient pavilion in Lahore and he gave me an invitation at about 12 pm. I immediately accepted the invitation because I had not been to an ancient place for a long time and I did not want to miss this opportunity. I was sure that the location he finalized would be good. I started to ready to go at the same time and I left home at six in the morning. We four friends came from different places and gathered in Lahore to visit this ancient pavilion.

We reached this ancient pavilion around 9:30 in the morning and there is no ticket to enter it. There was no one there in the morning and it was a great opportunity to take pictures. This ancient pavilion is 500 years old and was built during the Mughal era. This pavilion was the first building in Lahore that was constructed by the Mughals. This pavilion covered a very large area, but due to many accidents in the past, many parts of it were destroyed, but even after the passage of five hundred years, its beauty and strength is established.

When we entered this ancient pavilion area we see a small pavilion which is simple but also quite old and was also built around the same time. You can see in the picture below that my friends were eager to visit this pavilion and running away but I was busy in capturing everything.

There was a lot of parking around this pavilion and there were huge trees that made the place look pristine and beautiful. There were also several small ponds, some of which contain rainwater. Small bricks were used to pave its floor and the bricks were quite red that were giving an ancient vibes.

When I saw this pavilion from distance, I was very excited to visit it inside because it looked very ancient and beautiful. I took a few pictures of it from a distance and you can see the shadow of the trees forming in the water which is a beautiful sight. In front of this pavilion was a large pond which was almost half dry.

As soon as I entered this ancient pavilion, I began to examine it. I was looking at the carvings on its walls, some of which still remain. I could see that the water from the river did not have much damage to the walls of this pavilion, which proves that it is quite strong.

There was a huge room in the middle of this pavilion and small porches were built on all four sides and all their arched doors opened into each other. The walls of this pavilion are quite thick, which is the reason that it's still standing strong despite the passage of several hundred years. This pavilion was built by Kamran Mirza who was a Mughal prince.

You can see in the picture above that it is a big artificial pond in front of the pavilion and it was almost half dried up. In the picture below, me and @mojiko-blog are taking a selfie and my cousin took off his glasses to take a selfie because he says he doesn't get a good picture with the glasses.😄

A very beautiful and intricate flower was carved on the ceiling of the central large room of the pavilion which is arched. I took a photo of this beautiful art. Some of its walls were damaged, that's why the government repaired it many years ago and rebuilt the carvings on the walls, and now the people have damage to its walls by writing their names on the walls.

The middle room of this pavilion was huge and I was looking at the carvings on the walls because I love to visit and capture such ancient places. On the second floor of this pavilion, small porches were also built and all those porches were also connected to each other through doors. You can see in the picture below that @moaz-sabir was making the reel in this ancient pavilion and @tahastories1 was busy capturing everything like me and with it taha also was telling me the history of this pavilion, he always gives me knowledge about every place and I am thankful to him for that.

It's me and now we were on the roof of the pavilion. I asked Moaz to take a picture of me and he took a good picture of me. From its terrace, the entire area of the pavilion looks quite beautiful and the view of the Ravi river from here is also very good. Now my friends were deciding to go back as we had been there for a long time.

Now there is not much water in Ravi, but in the past due to the floods of the Ravi, there was a lot of damage to the settlements near it and due to these floods this pavilion was also damaged a lot. Now the banks of the river have been raised considerably. This pavilion, which has come up in the middle of the Ravi, is quite high than the water.

Near this pavilion there were quite big and old trees which seemed to be of ancient age and there were also lots of birds. The sun was quite good that day and hence we had a good chance to take some beautiful pictures. I took over a hundred photos of this pavilion because I was having fun.

A bridge was also constructed on one side of the large pond in front of this pavilion to reach the pavilion. In the picture below, you can see that the history of this pavilion is written on the board in both Urdu and English languages. We spent almost two hours at this place and had a lot of fun there. Everyone feels themselves in the past by visiting this historical place. Hope you enjoyed the history and pictures of this historical pavilion. Don't forget to give me your opinion about this historical pavilion.
SEE YOU NEXT TIME 🤗
Really the architecture of this place looks very old, but at the same time it is well preserved. It seems to be a very quiet place and I love that everyone went on this little adventure trip together. These are very nice and impressive pictures, thanks for sharing them my friend, it's a great approach for those of us who are far away...

The place is moderately good to pay a visit but I think your timing was not right as the sun was burning your skin badly. I feel in the afternoon time the place may give the best experience. What do you think?
