Hello dear travelers
Getting to know new places will always be one of my favorite adventures. The next stop on my map was Havana, in my previous post I tell a little more about the train on the way to the capital. I arrived in this busy city at approximately 11:00 pm and although it sounds crazy at that same time I already wanted to start getting to know, instead, there was another big voice crying out for a break.
My brothers and I set some destinations that could not be missed. The first one on our list was Centro habana
We started from the Fraternity Park, I had already read something about this park, it is a very big one, with a very lively, colorful grove, it has busts of some heroes accentuating a little historical tone and it adjoins the Capitol. The park is in the center having streets around it, hotels and is like the concentration of different stops of machines directed to a number of places.
We only gave him a brief glimpse of the Capitol at that time because we had set aside a special day for his visit. We stopped more at the hotels and the facilities that can be seen from there, the Saratoga, for example, that we heard about the explosion on the TV.
We continued on the way to the Prado Park, this was one of my favorite stops, on the way to the park and hotels kept appearing around it. Lions on every side welcome you to the park. I love the mixture of different colors that the park has and this was not given by its architecture and design, but by the people who were there and from what I found out, they remain, there they hold exhibitions of crafts, paintings or other souvenirs that the visitor can take as a souvenir.
Almost at the end of the street we turned right and came across a kind of square, a small but very nice one with a historical representation in the center and I quickly thought of Antonio Maceo for being on horseback. The air so pure that one was beginning to breathe there fell very well.
From there you could see the Spanish embassy at a short distance, with beautiful architecture, like everything in your country. We quickly got a little closer.
After a while we returned a little to the previous point to observe the tunnel that leads to other Havana provinces.
We continued our walk to the top of the embassy, we found the Museum of Fine Arts and unfortunately we could not enter so it was left for another time.
We were closing our walk heading towards the beginning of the Chinatown since we wouldn't have time to get to know it in depth, too bad we were still full of some pizzas that we ate, because the aroma of fried rice flooded everything.
I loved the ingenuity of a man who was walking around those parts and is dedicated to collecting empty cans, as those things have to be sold crushed, he very cleverly places them in the middle of the street so that the cars do much of their work and it would only be left to place them in a sack.
Our day was super profitable, we did a good tour of Centro Habana to such an extent that we fell back in the Fraternity Park. Havana has its charms and my brothers and I were there like good guajiros (that's what Westerners say to easterners) touring the capital.

Hola queridos viajeros
Conocer lugares nuevos siempre será de mis aventuras favoritas. La siguiente parada en mi mapa fue La Habana, en mi post anterior cuento un poco más sobre el tren camino a la capital. Llegué a esta movida ciudad aproximadamente a las 11:00 pm y aunque suene loco a esa misma hora ya quería empezar a conocer, en cambio, había otra gran voz que me pedía a gritos un descanso.
Mis hermanos y yo nos trazamos algunos destinos que no se podían dejar de recorrer. El primero en nuestra lista fue Centro habana
Arrancamos desde el Parque de la Fraternidad, ya había leído algo sobre este parque, es uno muy grande, con una arboleda muy viva, colorida, tiene bustos de algunos héroes acentuándole una poco de tono histórico y colinda con el Capitolio. El parque está en el centro teniendo calles a su alrededor, hoteles y es como la concentración de distintas paradas de máquinas dirigidas para un sin número de lugares.
Al Capitolio solo le dimos una pequeña ojeada en ese momento pues habíamos apartado un día especial para su visita. Nos detuvimos más en los hoteles y las instalaciones que se divisan desde allí, el Saratoga, por ejemplo, que supimos de la explosión en el televisor.
Seguimos camino al Parque del Prado, este fue una de mis paradas favoritas, camino al parque y a su alrededor siguieron apareciendo hoteles. Leones a cada costado te dan la bienvenida al parque. Me encanta la mezcla de colores diversos que tiene el parque y esto no se lo dio su arquitectura y diseño, sino, las personas que allí estaban y por lo que averigüé, permanecen, allí realizan exposiciones de manualidades, pinturas u otros recuerdos que el visitante se puede llevar para recuerdo.
Casi al final de la calle doblamos a la derecha y nos encontramos con una especie de plaza, una pequeña pero muy bonita con una representación histórica en el centro y que rápidamente pensé en Antonio Maceo por estar a caballo. El aire tan puro que se comenzaba a respirar allí caía muy bien.
Desde allí se observaba a poco distancia la embajada española, con una arquitectura hermosa, como todo lo de su país. Rápidamente nos acercamos un poco más.
Al rato volvimos un poco para el punto anterior para observar e túnel que lleva a otras provincias habaneras.
Seguimos nuestra caminata a la subida de la embajada, nos encontramos con el museo de Bellas Artes y lamentablemente no pudimos entrar por lo que se quedó para otra ocasión.
Fuimos cerrando nuestra caminata encaminándonos hacia el inicio del barrio chino ya que no nos daría tiempo conocerlo a fondo, lástima que aún estábamos llenos de unos pizzas que nos comimos, porque el aroma a arroz frito inundaba todo.
Me encantó el ingenio de un hombre que andaba por esos lares y se dedica a recoger latas vacías, como esas cosas se tienen que vender aplastadas, él muy inteligentemente las coloca en el medio de la calle para que los carros hagan gran parte de su trabajo y ya solo le quedaría colocarlas en saco.
Nuestro día, fue súper provechoso, le dimos buena vuelta a Centro habana a tal punto que volvimos a caer en el Parque de la Fraternidad. La Habana tiene sus encantos y allí estábamos mis hermanos y yo como buenos guajiros (así le dicen los occidentales a los orientales) recorriendo la capital.

I have never liked Havana too much.However, I admire how each site described.Good writing.Those who have never wished to visit the place.
I always wanted to know the capital, I saw it as so unattainable, now I see it as a beautiful, charming city. Too bad you don't like it, I just dislike its garbage dumps everywhere, my mother, I recommend you to give the city another chance, look at it from another angle, with different eyes.
