Hello dear travelers.
Recently I had the opportunity to visit another of the eastern provinces of my country again: Holguin. This time was very different because I had the opportunity to walk some of its streets, the first time I visited the city I did not have that pleasure.
Holguin is known for the city of parks and let me tell you that they were not wrong about that at all.
First of all, I don't tell you in detail how my sore was because the truth is that I slept the whole trip, but my first day in Holguin lands dawned like this, beautiful.

That day I walked the streets with my aunt and other Santiagueros, we all got ready to get to know a little more about everything. The first stop was at a feed factory that is a few minutes from where we stayed. There I had the incredible opportunity to learn about some operations they perform for the care and processing of different feeds.

Then we went to the very center of the city and we started the walk from a very large local of miscellaneous sales, i.e. like a fair where they sell everything, I asked if we were on a special date that they celebrate and I found out that this fair stays all year round. That's great! The site is named O'Donnel Square.

On the sides of the Square they were preparing an activity that would start in the evening, too bad we couldn't stay, instead, I was part of some preparations in what was waiting outside for my aunt.
It caught my attention very much, a small space that they dedicated to place many colorful umbrellas and under some small tables. It reminded me of the occasion when they did something similar in the central streets of Santiago but they only left the umbrellas one day and I couldn't see it in person. I quickly ran to observe him closely.
A little further on, there is the Little Cellar in the Middle, it was at that moment that I found out that all the provinces have one. These places tend to be attractive to tourists. I thought we only had one in Santiago.

Following the same path of La Bodeguita Street we came across a park named Boulevard. It's very nice the grove gives it that very nice natural touch, all parks tend to have one, but this one in particular caught my attention.
The park is so big that it took us a while to turn it around. Around it there are many hotels, shops, and on each side there are very wide streets like avenues, something like that.
We turned into a street and we already had another park, this one is similar to the previous one and its name did not appear on the map. We were walking aimlessly, we didn't even know which street we were looking for, we were just getting to know each other, I dedicated myself to observing and keeping memories. Near this park I had ice cream, it wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either.
Then we continued with the search for new views and we found a park that has a very beautiful, historical mural in the background. As of today I have not found the name of that park, if anyone knows I would appreciate it, I really liked this park and I concentrated mainly on that representation.
The tour of the city ended there, without realizing it and the afternoon was starting to fall and we did not know enough about Holguin to catch us the night outside the small hotel. We quickly went to get a car that through our brief explanations would return us to the place where we were staying.
My thirst for Holguin did not end here and although I still have many questions, I just know that I need more than one day to thoroughly explore the city well.

Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de visitar nuevamente otra de las provincias orientales de mi país: Holguín. Esta ocasión fue muy diferente porque tuve la oportunidad de recorrer algunas de sus calles, la primera vez que visité la ciudad no tuve ese placer.
Holguín es conocida por la ciudad de los parques y déjenme decirle que en eso no se equivocaron para nada.
Primeramente, no les cuento a detalle cómo fue mi llagada porque la verdad que dormí todo el viaje, pero mi primer día en tierras holguineras amaneció así, hermoso.

Ese día recorrí las calles con mi tía y otros santiagueros, entre todos nos dispusimos a conocer un poco más de todo. La primera parada fue en una fábrica de Piensos que está a pocos minutos de donde nos quedamos. Allí tuve la increíble oportunidad que me explicarán algunas operaciones que realizan para el cuidado y procesamiento de los diferentes piensos.

Luego nos dirigimos hasta el mismo centro de la ciudad y emprendimos la caminata desde un local muy grande de ventas misceláneas, ósea como una feria donde venden de todo, pregunté si estábamos en una fecha especial que ellos celebran y me topé con que esa feria permanece todo el año. ¡Qué bien! El sitio es nombrado Plaza de O’Donnel.

A los laterales de la Plaza estaban preparado una actividad que comenzaría en la noche, lástima que no pudimos quedarnos, en cambio, fui partícipe de algunos preparativos en lo que esperaba afuera a mi tía.
Me llamó muchísimo la atención, un pequeño espacio que dedicaron para colocar muchas sombrillas coloridas y de bajo algunas mesitas. Me recordó la ocasión que hicieron algo parecido en las calles céntricas de Santiago pero que sólo dejaron las sombrillas un día y no pude verlo de forma presencial. Rápidamente corrí a observarlo de cerca.
Un poco más adelante, está la Bodeguita del Medio, en ese momento fue que me enteré que todas las provincias tienen una. Estos lugares tienden a ser atractivos para los turistas. Pensé que en Santiago solo teníamos uno.

Siguiendo el mismo camino de la calle de la Bodeguita nos topamos con un Parque tiene como nombre Boulevard. Es muy lindo la arboleda le da ese toque natural muy bonito, todos los parques tienden a tener una, pero está en específico me llamó la atención.
El parque es tan grande que nos tardamos en darle la vuelta. A su alrededor tiene muchos hoteles, tiendas, y en cada lateral hay calles muy anchas tipo como las avenidas, algo así.
Doblamos en una calle y ya teníamos otro parque, este es un parecido al anterior y no me apareció su nombre en el mapa. Andábamos sin rumbo, ni sabíamos que calle buscábamos, solo estábamos conociendo, me dediqué a observar y guardar recuerdos. Cerca a este parque tomé helado, no fue el mejor pero tampoco estaba mal.
Luego continuamos con la búsqueda de nuevas vistas y nos encontramos con un parque que tiene en el fondo un mural muy hermoso, histórico. A sol de hoy no he encontrado el nombre de ese parque, si alguien sabe se lo agradecería, este parque me gustó mucho y me concentré sobre todo en esa representación.
El recorrido por la ciudad acabó ahí, sin darnos cuenta ya la tarde comenzaba a caer y no conocíamos lo suficiente de Holguín como para que nos atrapara la noche fuera del pequeño hotel. Rápidamente nos encaminamos a pillar algún carro que a través de nuestras escuetas explicaciones nos devolviera al lugar donde nos hospedamos.
Mi sed de Holguín no acabó aquí y aunque aún me quedan muchas preguntas, solo se que necesito más de un día para recorrer a fondo bien la ciudad.

La verdad que el día lo tuvo todo y así de agotada caí en la cama, creo que nunca había caminado tanto, quizás en el transcurso de la publicación se sienta la larga caminanta pero déjame decirte que fue el doble de larga, ufff.
Pues no, averigüé y Bodeguita del medio hay en todas las provincias, quizás mi fuente se equivocó, pero por lo menos ya he visitado 3 en diferentes provincias. Eres de la Habana?
Aunque pudiéramos quedarnos a la fiesta de la tarde creo que no hubiese aceptado, mi batería no daría para tanto.

No, no soy de Cuba pero hace muchos años tuve la suerte de conocer algunos lugares en la isla y quedé encantada, recuerdo la bodeguita de la capital.

Hola, me encanta que hayas podido conocer algo de la isla, espero y haya cumplido y rebasado tus expectativas. Esta isla tiene sus cosas pero en belleza y naturaleza nunca me decepciona.

Oh yo quedé encantada con Cuba, su gente y su comida jajaja. Pero nunca he escrito sobre ello, fue hace demasiado tiempo ya.
Puedes publicar a diario sin problemas, teniendo en cuenta las normas y no caer en el reciclaje de contenido, hablar de experiencias y lugares diferentes.

Hola, si la conoces solo de nombre, te recomiendo que si se te llega a dar la oportunidad y vienes a Cuba, no dudes de pasar por suelo holguinero, no te arrepentirás, ahh y obviamente por mi querido Santiago que tiene muchos encantos.
