Half day of pure serenity
Spending few hours in nature's lap refreshes us and Ansupa Lake Park is a perfect place to relax our stressful life. Continuing from my last post, we went to this beautiful park, which is recently rejuvenated by the government. It's just 65 km away from the Capital city - would take couple of hours to reach there, so a perfect place to visit in the week end with family.
Though we were tired, seeing the view from the hill top, I was very much interested to go here before coming back for the evening party. The park is beautiful spreading over several acres, it has also got a small cafeteria, a children's play area, Boating point, a bamboo house and most importantly the Lake view . Since we reached there in the afternoon, we decided to spend maximum time at the Lake view point. It's a very calm environment, sitting there for some time, I was thinking, what we are missing in the cities.
The entry fee is just 20 rupees - nothing compared to what is being spent to develop the area.
Here is the view of the place from the lake. Such a calm and beautiful ambience - no one was willing to go anywhere else.
In my place stone crafting is very famous, and they development authority has done a good job by putting some stones with different crafts.
The authority is working day and night to clear the weeds - once they clear it all, it would be amazing to explore this 161 acre lake. The boating then would take more than couple of hours. We saw fisherman fishing in the distance - shouted at one to get some fresh fish, but he was not willing to sell - as I have said earlier, these people eat the best natural product - the fresh small fishes that tastes better than anything sold in market.
Coming back, I was not very happy to leave this place so soon - I have already planned to take my family here.
The evening turned out to be nice with the lovely dinner arrangement by my friend - especially, the fish..I would not write more about it 😀 someone else had to drive us back.

I am not going to make any stupidity but I am sure that it is amazing landscape with beautiful lakes. Sculpture in stone is amazing and unforgettable. I wish I be the part of Ansupa lake part.. looking gorgeous sir.. appreciate various angle photography.

Nature and especially water definitely has a rejuvenating effect. Especially if you're with friends or family having fun and enjoying yourselves.
In a word, the place is amazing. The hilly terrain as well as the lake is something really cool. A very beautiful place. Definitely enjoyed a lot.
Such a great place to clear the mind while talking to friends, sure it would be great to take the family there, and all enjoy it together. I sure hope when your wife health is back to being fully healthy, that you take a weekend ride there and spent some quality time with the kids, and perhabs one of those fishermen sell that day, who knows.
Loved the pic of your friend looking at the lake, he looks so relaxed and my god he finally let those 2phones he had on his hands in all other photos, on his pockets for that one photo, he managed to unplug from the work and the world for a moment, at least :D
And i know is hard, such is a father life, and such is life for a grow man, work leave us no rest.
Im glad you had this relaxing trip, hope you talk more about how you experienced it and maybe take your family there soon :D
He is the one, who organized everything, should not mention, but he is a very senior guy who has responsibilities 24/7, but he gave all the time to us when we were there. He enjoyed the time with us.
Well that is a good point, being the one to handle thsoe responsabilities, then he rarely have time to relax I guess :S anyways is a great moment as friends, hope you find it relaxing and it helped balance your life and your work :)
