Unfortunately due to heavy waves we couldn't enjoy with beach sands.

No. Moon day will upcoming next 28th Saturday. These time period heavily raining whole isaland in Sri Lanka. So we couldn't enjoyed lot.
Ya, beach is definitely not nice in heavy rains. For us Winter has just started, so pretty enjoyable.
