Chandranath hill is one of the most famous travel places in Sitakunda,Chittagong,Bangladesh. The hill is around 1300 feets.During my semester break, me and some friends decided to visit Chandranath hill. The first step of the tour was to buy train tickets. After buying train tickets we started our journey at 12 pm from Airport railway station in Dhaka,Bangladesh. After about 6 hours of journey we reached sitakunda at 6 am.

From sitakunda railway station, we took a CNG to go to the nearest point of the hill. After that we prepared ourselves to climb up the hill. That was my first hill climbing experience. As a result, I got so tired after 20 mins. Suddenly, I was so surprised to see a scence. A local mountain man collected wood and he climbed up so easily. That gives me some motivation to reach the top of the hill. It takes around 2:30-3:00 hours to climb the hill.By then my physical condition was very bad. My friends take care of me there and I feel good.
But when I looked up from the top of the hill I was amazed and my eyes and mind were filled with happiness. At that moment, it seemed to me that my tiredness towards this beauty was insignificant.Most people go there to see the old Hindu temples. Whose name is Chandranath Temple. And this hill is named Chandranath hill after this temple.
