Love the pictures of the beck. Love the look of Wardill Bros even more. We have two similar independent stores locally - so very different from the pound shops because they have everything. If I go in either one and ask for some niche thing, they'll have it squirrelled away somewhere. I like browsing, too, they often have things you didn't know you needed!

Its a proper old fashioned village shop that has everything! A bit like a modern 'two Ronnies' sketch!
Shops like this are still a necessity, I imagine, but the some of the prices are eye-watering, despite there being a Coop in the village.
I guess it's convenience over price. I'm always happy to see a village shop.
