Hello dear friends,
As usual, I've forgotten to post this, because now I've started working and I'm quite busy. Unfortunately, I have so many things to share with you here, but I never seem to find the time. I feel a bit sorry about this because I've truly seen some very interesting things during my vacation.
Today, in this post, I'm sharing something probably different from usual. Honestly, I've never shared the places or hotels where I've stayed, not for advertising reasons, but simply because I don't care to reveal where I've lodged. However, in this case, I want to make an exception because even though it's an artificially created establishment, we can say that an ancient village has been restored and transformed into this luxury structure, essentially a kind of hotel.
When I went to visit some friends of mine around Siena, they had a sort of coupon that was about to expire, so I could use it within this establishment. I must say that, unlike the places where I usually stay, where I seek out more intimate and local accommodations, I had a good experience here. That's why I want to share it with you, as someone who might be in this area might need to find such a place.
Borgo San Felice is a medieval village that has been transformed into this relais and hotel. It offers about 60 rooms, including some luxury rooms and suites. What I find beautiful about this place, especially for those coming from abroad, is that it lets you savor the typical Italian "Dolce Vita". In fact, it features two typical Tuscan restaurants, so you can already taste the culinary specialties of this beautiful region right within the establishment. There are also other restaurants that let you sample dishes from other regions, but since you're in Tuscany, it's right to focus on the local specialties.
Furthermore, they provide you with a range of services, from an outdoor pool to a spa, and above all, it allows you to indulge in a high-quality stay. Remember that this Borgo is situated right in the heart of Chianti, which, apart from being famous for its breathtaking landscapes, is also renowned for its excellent wines. Inside this village, they also organize wine tastings and guided tours of the numerous wineries nearby.
During my visit, they even organized something truly amazing. Unfortunately, I couldn't capture that moment in photos, but I'll describe it here. They arranged a hot air balloon ride, so you could admire the stunning Chianti landscape from above. It's a unique experience, but in my opinion, it's very beautiful because it offers a different perspective of the landscape.
So, I hope you've found today's place interesting – a fantastic structure nestled in lush greenery that allows you to breathe in this magical atmosphere. I didn't stay for a very long time, but it was a very peaceful vacation that encapsulated the essence of Tuscan life. Here, you can truly experience a way of living that, in my opinion, is much more serene than in other regions.
See you in my next post, which I hope to share very soon, to talk about other fantastic places I've seen. Have a great day, everyone.

It is very interesting to read about the transformation of Borgo San Felice from an old village to a luxury hotel. It must have been a wonderful experience to have this opportunity while visiting friends around Siena. I also enjoyed your peaceful vacation filled with the amenities and tranquility of the hotel. ✨
