Hi Pinmapple friends how are you??
In these days I managed to publish few posts because I'm quite busy at work, but I am very happy to read what other people publish and many times there are beautiful photos!
Also for work reasons these days I am in the city of Turin, it's not the first time I've come here, I've also been there as a tourist, but this time I wanted to go to a place that, let's say, the Turinese always go there on Sundays.
Among other things, there was also a beautiful sunny day so it was the ideal time to be outdoors.
I practically took a tour of the Valentino park, one of the most famous public parks in Turin which practically develops along the banks of the river Po.
It was my first time coming to this place and I must say that it is ideal for escaping from the traffic of the city of Turin, because after a while you've been immersed in traffic you can't wait to go somewhere more relaxing.
In fact, this park is located just a 10-minute walk from the main station of Turin which is the Porta Nuova station.
I found it a very large park, it is very well kept, Among other things, at this time of autumn there are fantastic colors because the trees are changing color, the thing that surprised me a bit that it is not super busy, maybe because i came in the morning and most people were reading.
I find these parks very useful. Especially for those who live in the city, just imagine who has a dog this is the ideal place to take him for a run.
Along the walk there were also small ones that I wrote but probably given the opening hours they were closed, a real shame because given the cold I really needed a good hot chocolate.
I did a research on this park, and it seems that it was still built in the 1500s because here it was inhabited by the Birago nobles, then it was bought by the Savoys and was opened to the citizens.
Inside the park there is a small medieval village and the castle was built in 1600 and was used as a summer residence of the Savoy, and I must say that I didn't even know the existence of this castle even though I had come several times to the city of Turin, this makes you understand how many things there are in Italy that sometimes escape our eyes.
This is why, as I always say, things must be visited on foot calmly.
Near the castle there are many squirrels, with whom I shared my breakfast, but they are so cute and nice.
I hope you liked my story, See you at my next story and have a nice day.
