Hello, dear friends!
With great pleasure, today I managed to write a post about a village I had the chance to visit in the past few days. It’s a place not too far from Florence, as it is part of its metropolitan area—a place I truly discovered by chance, thanks to a new client I have been working with for the past few months.
We are talking about Vitolini, a hamlet of the municipality of Vinci, as I mentioned, located in the metropolitan city of Florence, which means it is still in the beautiful Tuscany.
This place, along with a visit to Vinci, could make for a wonderful tour since, as many of you surely know, Vinci is the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci.
This charming village is located at an altitude of around 200 meters above sea level, which means that even in summer, when other areas of Tuscany can be very hot, the climate here is milder and definitely more pleasant.
As soon as I arrived, I was immediately struck by the stone houses. The atmosphere in these places is always peaceful, and I can also say it feels very authentic, with these historic houses and narrow streets.
But you all know how much I love visiting places like this—actually, I can’t wait! So, I climbed up to the highest part of the village, and I discovered that it is very famous for olive oil and wine production. In fact, along the road, I noticed several wineries.
As I was saying, if you climb to the highest point of the town, you’ll have the chance to admire a breathtaking panoramic view of the stunning olive groves surrounding this beautiful village.
At one point, I found myself in front of the Church of San Pietro Apostolo, which is located in the main square. From here, you can not only enjoy a magnificent view but also see the village from above.
Unfortunately, the church was closed, so my only consolation was enjoying the stunning panorama from this fascinating viewpoint.
Then, I took one last walk through the streets, observing as many details as possible—everything unique and special. There is always something interesting to observe and capture in my photos.
I truly believe that strolling through these places is always something original and unique. As I always say, exploring off the beaten tourist paths is the best way to experience a place.
I hope my photos have inspired you to visit this lovely spot. Thank you so much, and see you in the next post! But before that, I wish you all a wonderful day!
