Last month we had a family reunion in Texas. My older sister lives in Texas and invited us all to come see the eclipse with her. She also rented a big house for us all to stay together on Butler Lake.
Our house is the green one, behind the red and yellow houses.
It was beautiful in the afternoon.
At sunrise. Below is a video of the sounds of the lake at sunrise.
And at night during the lightning storm. Not the best picture. I did get a cool video.
@jarive got some great pictures of us hanging out by the lake.
Some played a frisbee game out back and we caught a ROUS on camera. If you have seen Princes Bride you will know that ROUS stands for Rodents of Unusual Size. @jarvie is quite funny in the video.

While the house was quite old and needed a lot of repairs all family was able to stay together and we made some great memories in a beautiful place.
