Hi Pinmapple and Hive friends, today I want to share with you this trip back in time, with some memories of my first trip to London, back in 2006.

I knew from the beginning that with only a week I was going to be able to see little of this huge and cosmopolitan city, so I tried to organize the trip meticulously. I was interested in visiting the classic places of London but I also wanted to know those places where tourists don't usually go, those places that don't appear in the guide books, and that hide the true essence of that neighborhood.
(Sabia desde el inicio que con solamente una semana iba a poder ver poco de esta enorme y cosmopolita ciudad, de manera que trate de organizar el viaje minuciosamente. Me interesaba visitar los lugares clasicos de Londres pero también querìa conocer esos lugares donde generalmente no llega el turista, esos lugares que no aparecen en las guias, y que esconden la verdadera esencia de ese barrio)
Initially I visited Camden Town, as a young man passionate about the world of tattooing (it was not yet my definitive job) and alternative culture, I could not miss in my walk through the city, I wanted to visit the most important places of the city.
This huge multicultural neighborhood located around the Regents canal surprises you with its huge market visited by locals and travelers constantly, where in the air you perceive aromas and exotic fragrances all the time, coming from its numerous cafes and restaurants.
(Inicialmente visité Camden Town, como joven apasionado al mundo del tatuaje (todavia no era mi trabajo definitivo) y de la cultura alternativa, no podia faltar en mi paseo por la ciudad.
Este enorme barrio multicultural situado alrededor del canal Regents te sorprende con su enorme mercado visitado por locales y viajeros constantemente, donde en el aire percibes aromas y fragancias exoticas todo el tiempo, provenientes de sus numerosos cafes y restaurantes)
The next day, already more rested, after so much walking around Camden and surroundings, I headed towards the Westminster area in the West End. I was very curious to see the famous Big Bang up close, and look, the exit of the subway was exactly under the shadow of the giant clock.
(El dia siguente, ya mas descansado, despuès de tanto caminar por Camden y alrededores, me dirigi hacia la zona de Westminster en pleno West End. Tenia mucha curiosidad de ver el famoso Big Bang de cerca, y mira caso, la salida del subte quedaba exactamente bajo la sombra del gigante reloj)
Always in the area I could admire the beautiful architecture of the House of Parliament and its gardens, Westminster Abbey, and take a walk in the greenery of St. James Park.
(Siempre en la zona pude admirar la hermosa arquitectura de la House of Parliament y sus jardines, la Abadia de Westminster, y hacer una caminata en el verde del Saint James Park)
In the penultimate photo I leave you the challenge to understand the mystery of the two ducks :D. It was a photo taken without the intention that this was the final result, I captured the image of a single duck, or at least I thought I did.
