Hey, it's been a while since I've posted. i was sick I was housebound due to illness. I didn't go anywhere. As a result photography was not done. I did not go anywhere in between. I went to Manikganj two days ago, today I appeared with it.

As a result of sitting at home for several months, I was dying to visit some archaeological and historical places. So I came back from Baliati Zamindar's house of Manikganj district, which stands as a witness of the times, cherishing the history-tradition of almost 200 years. It is located in Dhaka Division.

We reached Saturia zero point in two hours by Selfie transport straight to Saturia from Dhaka's Gabtali bus terminal on Friday. From there, we reached the landlord's house after a 1-kilometer, 10-minute walk. I saw a big pond in front of the landlord's house. On the other side of it are two lion statues placed on either side of the entrance gate of the house and four huge palaces standing beautifully in front. Keep watching and frame the camera.

When the two brothers were enjoying the beauty of the landlord's house. A candid click from Fahad from behind.

Then I entered inside by paying the entry fee of 30 rupees. All the zamindar premises are surrounded by high walls and one enters through the main gate of the zamindar house to see a spacious green covered courtyard. A beautiful flower garden has been developed in the courtyard. Beyond the courtyard and behind the four storied buildings are three more palatial buildings. Behind it is a beautiful pond. It will seem as if you have come to receive the hospitality of a king.

There are about 200 rooms of seven palaces here with fine craftsmanship. Each wall of the buildings is about 20-22 inches thick made of lime-surki, iron sheet and clay. Every part of which has a touch of beauty. Baliati Zamindar Bari full of unique construction techniques and craftsmanship reflects the nobility of the Zamindars of that time.

A historical view. Two huge ancient buildings on either side, road and garden in between

On the one hand, the beauty and glittering offerings of the zamindar's house are telling the story of its glorious past. On the other hand, there is a flower garden surrounded by various local and foreign flowers and beautiful foliage. All in all, I was invited to see this beauty by hand not once but again and again. Moreover, the mild-quiet noise-free environment here gave me a different kind of travel feeling.

The famous bell tree

The zamindars of Balliat have left behind hundreds of years of riches from the first half of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th century, which has enriched the antiquities of the district.

The Baliati zamindar house, established on nearly 5.88 acres of land, is currently being preserved and managed by the Bangladesh Archaeological Department. And in the central block of the landlord's house, a museum has been built in the building known as Rangmahal. This zamindar house is also known as Baliati Palace. There is a bell tree here. The bell tree has created a pleasant atmosphere in the entire pond side yard.

Anyway, we went to some more spots from there, I will talk about that another time. Until then stay well.
