Hace unos días compartí con la comunidad, mi primera gran publicación sobre cómo empezó mi Semana Santa, ahí compartí fotografías de un lugar mágico, asimismo, lo vivido y sentido allí.
A few days ago, I shared with the community my first major publication about how my Holy Week began, There I shared photographs of a magical place, as well as what I experienced and felt there.

El lugar al que tuve la oportunidad de asistir fue al Campamento Yakon Maleiwa, ubicada en Aguirre, Carabobo, Venezuela.
The place I had the opportunity to attend was the Yakon Maleiwa Camp, located in Aguirre, Carabobo, Venezuela.
¿Qué beneficios tuvo ir a ese lugar?/ What were the benefits of going there?
Caminar y estirar las piernas, porque es súper grande el lugar. Además tienes el privilegio de recrear la vista con el paisaje espectacular.
Walk and stretch your legs, because the place is super big. You also have the privilege of recreating the view with the spectacular scenery.
Pernoctar, que básicamente consiste en pasar la noche en un determinado lugar, especialmente fuera del propio domicilio.
Overnight stay, which basically consists of spending the night in a certain place, especially away from one's own home.
Estar en una piscina con tobogán y disfrutar ahí de lanzarse, ganar flexibilidad y mejorar el aparato respiratorio. Además divertirse con otros amigos.
Be in a pool with a slide and enjoy diving into it, gaining flexibility and improving your respiratory system. Also have fun with other friends.
Sostener unos minutos al bebé de una amiga. Por si no lo sabían, amo los bebés, su cuidado y me interesa su crecimiento. Así que lo cargué en brazos y me encantó.
Holding a friend's baby for a few minutes. In case you didn't know, I love babies, their care and I'm interested in their growth. So I held him and loved it.
Arriesgarme e intentar perder el miedo a las alturas, el vértigo a caerme junto a mis primos al ir a un parque de cuerdas, el cual básicamente consiste en completar una serie, donde mi corazón literalmente se paralizaría y el miedo a caerse se instalaba en mi estómago, la mente te dice: No sigas, ríndete. Solo logré uno de cuatro objetivos.
To take a risk and try to lose the fear of heights, the vertigo of falling with my cousins by going to a rope park, which basically consists of completing a series, where my heart would literally stop and the fear of falling would settle in my stomach, the mind tells you: Don't go on, give up. I only achieved one of four goals.
Disfrutar de un paseo a caballo junto a otros familiares. Además, conversar sobre la historia de los caballos, pues me enteré que tenían un caballo muy viejo, pero conservaba la nobleza y belleza.
Enjoying a horseback ride with other family members. Also, talk about the history of the horses, as I learned that they had a very old horse, but retained the nobility and beauty.
Inspirar mi visión con las hermosas flores que conseguí e intentar imitar fotografías tipo Pinterest.
Inspiring my vision with the beautiful flowers I got and trying to mimic Pinterest type photographs.
Columpiarse en el parque de niños y subir unos minutos a las nubes, literalmente.
Swinging in the children's playground and going up in the clouds for a few minutes, literally.
Estar cerca de una fogata y tener un instante perfecto de paz.
Being near a campfire and having a perfect moment of peace.
Alimentar a toda la familia con una rica parrilla, con las parrilleras portátiles del lugar.
Feed the whole family with a tasty barbecue, with the portable grills on site.
Intentar encestar al jugar baloncesto con un grupo de niños, en las canchas deportivas, pero definitivamente los deportes, no son lo mío.
Trying to make a basket while playing basketball with a group of kids, on the sports courts, but sports are definitely not my thing.
Ayudar a mis tías a cocinar muchísimas arepas en la cocina.
Helping my aunts cook lots and lots of arepas in the kitchen.
Esperar la famosa luna rosa, pero encontrarme con nunca verla aparecer, porque la noche estuvo nublada y la luna guardada.
Waiting for the famous pink moon, only to find myself never seeing it appear, because the night was cloudy and the moon was in storage.
¿Qué me otorgó este viaje respecto a las enseñanzas?/ What did this trip give me in terms of teachings?
La vida es un estado de novedad, relativamente. Así que como se trata de cambios, también es de nuevas experiencias y cosas por vivir. Antes, en familia podíamos viajar más seguido, éramos menos integrantes, las cosas fluían con mayor facilidad, porque teníamos dentro de lo que cabe, más tiempo y menos responsabilidades, pero ahora han cambiado las cosas, y siempre que sale una oportunidad para compartir un momento, del tipo relax con las personas que quieres, hago todo lo posible por centrarme y disfrutarlo.
Life is a state of newness, relatively speaking. So as it is about changes, it is also about new experiences and things to live. Before, as a family we could travel more often, we were fewer members, things flowed more easily, because we had more time and less responsibilities, but now things have changed, and whenever there is an opportunity to share a relaxing moment with the people you love, I do my best to focus and enjoy it.
En ocasiones, las cosas no terminan como las esperas; aún si las llevaste imaginando con todo lujo de detalles, por mucho tiempo. Simplemente tienes que enfocarte en cómo resulten.
Sometimes things don't turn out the way you expect them to, even if you've been imagining them in detail for a long time. You just have to focus on how they turn out.
Debes permitirte tomar aire y exhalar. Comenzar por algo simple, es un grandioso paso. Tan solo mirar las nubes, es un acto sencillo para disfrutar.
You must allow yourself to take a breath and exhale. Starting with something simple is a great step. Just looking at the clouds is a simple act to enjoy.
Hagas lo que hagas, tomes la decisión que tomes, las personas de tu alrededor y las que no lo sean, siempre opinarán. Muchas de las personas, verán las cosas desde su perspectiva, lo que han vivido y lo que sienten. Lo mejor es actuar con inteligencia, sin embargo, no siempre estás preparado para actuar de la mejor forma.
Whatever you do, whatever decision you make, the people around you, and those who are not, will always have an opinion. Many people will see things from their perspective, what they have experienced and what they feel. It is best to act intelligently, however, you are not always prepared to act in the best way.
El amor te hace ciego, sin embargo, no es solo el amor por otra persona y la atracción que sientes cuando te enamoras, el que te cierra la mente a muchas cosas. También, el amor por un familiar, así que este pequeño viaje, me ha hecho entender, que debemos pensar más allá de las emociones y me brindó abrir los ojos, entendiendo que no soy perfecta, pero que no puedo limitarme en cuanto a ser emocional, también debemos de estimular el área del razonamiento y así actuar con mayor precisión.
Love makes you blind, however, it is not only the love for another person and the attraction you feel when you fall in love that closes your mind to many things. Also, love for a family member, so this little journey has made me understand that we must think beyond emotions and it opened my eyes, understanding that I am not perfect, but I cannot limit myself in terms of being emotional, we must also stimulate the area of reasoning and thus act more accurately.
La lección más importante y también un consejo es:/ The most important lesson and also a piece of advice is:
Al hacer la maleta, asegúrate de llevar todo lo necesario que estés seguro que vayas a usar: suficientes outfits (que a su vez puedas complementar algunas prendas con otras) y pijamas cómodas, productos de cuidado de la piel (protector solar, champú, acondicionador, crema hidratante) y un juego de sábanas (sábana bajera, sábana encimera y funda de almohada) junto a tu almohada y una cobija por si hace frío.
When packing your suitcase, make sure you bring everything you are sure you will use: enough outfits (that you can complement some items with others) and comfortable pajamas, skin care products (sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer), and a set of sheets (fitted sheet, top sheet and pillowcase) along with your pillow and a blanket in case it gets cold.
Una anécdota curiosa es que en este viaje relámpago, a pesar de que orientaron desde el principio que llevaran sábanas y cobijas, porque ahí no habría y las necesitaríamos, yo llevé de todo lo mencionado anteriormente, menos el juego de sábanas. Además, el sol no me perdonó, aunque me puse protector solar antes de salir de casa, y no fue suficiente.
A curious anecdote is that on this whirlwind trip, despite the fact that we were told from the beginning to bring sheets and blankets, because there would not be any there and we would need them, I brought everything mentioned above, except the set of sheets. Besides, the sun did not spare me, although I put on sunscreen before leaving home, and it was not enough.
Después de salir de la hacienda, salimos a almorzar, elegí una cachapa con queso y terminé llevándome la mitad para guardarla para mi cena. Finalmente, en el camino a casa, venía durmiéndome y pagando el karma de no dormir por insomnio.
After leaving the hacienda, we went out for lunch, I chose a cachapa with cheese and ended up taking half of it to save for my dinner. Finally, on the way home, I was falling asleep and paying the karma of not sleeping due to insomnia.
Sinceramente, llevaba meses sin poder gozar el privilegio de tener a toda mi familia junta, así que estoy sinceramente agradecida por poder compartir esos minutos preciados con cada uno de ellos, que finalmente serán recuerdos para atesorar, más allá de las fotografías.
Honestly, I hadn't been able to enjoy the privilege of having my entire family together for months, so I am sincerely grateful to be able to share those precious minutes with each of them, which will ultimately be memories to treasure, beyond photographs.
