Hoy, les compartiré mi experiencia a través de fotografías y palabras con vivencias en el Parque Jardín Botánico de Naguanagua.
Today, I will share with you my experience through photographs and words with experiences in the Botanical Garden Park of Naguanagua.
La semana santa, siempre ha sido una de oportunidad perfecta para conocer otros lugares y coleccionar nuevos momentos para mi existencia.
Easter has always been a perfect opportunity to get to know other places and collect new moments for my existence.
Desde hace un tiempo, tenía intención de conocer el Jardín Botánico y descubrir que había dentro.
For some time now, I had been meaning to get to know the Botanical Garden and find out what was inside.
Así que le propuse a mi madre y padre ir juntos.
So I proposed to my mother and father to go together.
En nuestra visita, conocimos diversos árboles. Algunos de ellos estaban identificados, como: el Bucare, Erythrina velutina, de la familia Papilionaceae.
During our visit, we met several trees. Some of them were identified, such as: the Bucare, Erythrina velutina, of the family Papilionaceae.
También conseguimos un: Orore, Pithecellobium ligustrinum.
We also got a: Orore, Pithecellobium ligustrinum.
Asimismo, vi por primera vez un: Uvero, Coccoloba caracasana.
Likewise, I saw for the first time a: Uvero, Coccoloba caracasana.
Lo más sorprendente para mí y podría afirmar que para todos los integrantes de mi familia, es el grandioso Samán, Pithecellobium saman. Sólo observen las siguientes fotografías. A mí, me dejó sin palabras lo que leí en el letrero informativo y admirada por la vista del árbol en todo su esplendor.
The most surprising thing for me, and I could say for all the members of my family, is the great Samán, Pithecellobium saman. Just look at the following pictures. For me, I was left speechless by what I read on the information sign and in awe at the sight of the tree in all its splendor.
Tanto fue mi admiración, que me inspiró y decidí acercarme, sentir la energía del árbol, simplemente conectarme con la esencia de este. Solo cerré los ojos y dejé lo que estuviese pasando alrededor, por primera vez, o diría que después de mucho tiempo, me centré en el momento presente.
So much was my admiration, that it inspired me and I decided to get closer, to feel the energy of the tree, to simply connect with the essence of the tree. I just closed my eyes and let go of whatever was going on around me, for the first time, or I would say after a long time, I focused on the present moment.
También decidí capturar una fotografía de mis padres. Sin embargo, mi papá estaba admirando el árbol y el entorno.
I also decided to capture a photograph of my parents. However, my dad was admiring the tree and the surroundings.
Seguí capturando nuevas fotografías y respirando un aire puro y lleno de frescura.
I continued capturing new photographs and breathing fresh air full of freshness.
Caminando, encontré algo digno de capturar: el proceso de Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, mejor conocida como: Flor de Cayena, Rosa de China, Amapola, Hibisco, entre otros nombres.
Walking around, I found something worth capturing: the process of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, better known as: Cayenne Flower, China Rose, Poppy, Hibiscus, among other names.
Seguí caminando, encontrando una vista para capturar que profundamente me inspira. Esta visión, me da una perspectiva de especie de túnel, señalando la vida de forma principal, con diversos árboles que simbolizan las etapas, cargados de inmensas experiencias; y al final, tenemos una vista incierta, que solo conoceremos algún día, si seguimos caminando.
I kept walking, finding a view to capture that deeply inspires me. This view, gives me a tunnel-like perspective, pointing out life in a major way, with various trees symbolizing stages, loaded with immense experiences; and at the end, we have an uncertain view, which we will only know someday, if we keep on walking.
Esta siguiente fotografía, la capturé porque me llamó la atención, especialmente la forma de la hoja. Mi papá me dijo que era la especie Epiphyllum phyllanthus, porque él ha hecho investigaciones con esa planta.
This next photograph, I captured it because it caught my attention, especially the shape of the leaf. My dad told me it was the species Epiphyllum phyllanthus, because he has done research with that plant.
Una parte graciosa de mi vivencia en el parque, fue encontrar esta especie de lianas, porque solo podía pensar en la película “George de la Selva” y Tarzán. Así que le orienté a mi madre, a tomarle una fotografía ahí.
A funny part of my experience in the park was to find this kind of vines, because I could only think of the movie "George of the Jungle" and Tarzan. So I directed my mother to take a picture there.
Posteriormente, conseguí estas fotografías de un árbol desconocido, pero el cual capturó mi atención por sus colores diversos.
Later, I got these photographs of an unknown tree, but which captured my attention because of its diverse colors.
Seguidamente, vi este árbol lleno de espinas, conocido como: Jabillo, Hura crepitans.
Next, I saw this tree full of thorns, known as: Jabillo, Hura crepitans.
Y hasta una fotografía graciosa capturaron mis padres.
And even a funny picture was captured by my parents.
Una vez, visto el Jabillo, encontré estas bellezas inspiradoras, cuyas primeras dos que vienen, tienen el hogar de alguna familia de pájaros.
Once, seen the Jabillo, I found these inspiring beauties, whose first two coming, have the home of some family of birds.
Y estas otras dos imágenes, indicando que la vida tiene un ciclo que termina, pero también que a veces como seres humanos, no tenemos ideas, o no fluye la inspiración para dar impulso a un nuevo propósito.
And these other two images, indicating that life has a cycle that ends, but also that sometimes as human beings, we do not have ideas, or inspiration does not flow to give impetus to a new purpose.
Algo que me animó, fue compartir esta experiencia de conocer un lugar nuevo con mi familia principal: mi mamá y mi papá @capp.
Something that encouraged me, was to share this experience of getting to know a new place with my main family: my mom and dad @capp.
Encontrar plantitas diminutas e interesantes, siempre es sorprendente.
Finding tiny, interesting little plants is always surprising.
Para culminar el recorrido de árboles, encontré un Apamate, Tabebuia rosea, de la familia Bignoniaceae.
To culminate the tree tour, I found an Apamate, Tabebuia rosea, of the Bignoniaceae family.
Hallar flores es hermoso, una experiencia que revitaliza y admirar sus colores, algo de otro mundo, al menos para mí. No obstante, me pareció curioso, conocer que lo que estaba viendo no eran flores, sino hojas modificadas.
Finding flowers is beautiful, a revitalizing experience and admiring their colors, something from another world, at least for me. However, I found it curious to learn that what I was seeing were not flowers, but modified leaves.
Justo cuando casi terminaba el recorrido, encontré esta planta, que me sorprendió por cómo se extendía. Y hasta me tomé una foto para comparar su altura con la mía.
Just as I was almost finished with the tour, I found this plant, which surprised me by the way it spread out. I even took a picture of it to compare its height with mine.
Algo que encontré y me encantó fue una pluma blanca. Quizá muchos no creen en supersticiones, pero a mí me causan especial emoción hallar esas simplicidades que se vuelven en algo grandioso. Se comenta que encontrarse una pluma blanca, es de buena suerte porque representa un nuevo comienzo, ya que ellas simbolizan el estado más íntimo de la pureza, la luz. Además, desde el punto de vista del color, el blanco, está asociado a la protección, a la conexión con la divinidad (Dios, Alá, Universo…).
Something I found and loved was a white feather. Perhaps many do not believe in superstitions, but I am especially excited to find those simplicities that turn into something grandiose. It is said that finding a white feather is good luck because it represents a new beginning, since they symbolize the most intimate state of purity, light. Moreover, from the point of view of color, white is associated with protection, connection with divinity (God, Allah, Universe...).
En el siguiente árbol, su nombre común me dio risa: Indio Desnudo, Bursera simaruba, de la familia Burseraceae. Me enteré que también le llaman: Palo Mulato. Este árbol hace fotosíntesis en el tallo.
On the next tree, its common name made me laugh: Indio Desnudo, Bursera simaruba, of the family Burseraceae. I learned that it is also called: Palo Mulato. This tree photosynthesizes in the stem.
Ahora sí, finalmente… Una foto infraganti, que también podría ser el detrás de cámara para acercarme a un espectacular gato, que parece una Calicó, que son los gatos, que en su mayoría son hembras, porque en sus células tienen dos cromosomas X, también conocidos por su pelaje blanco con manchas marrón, anaranjado y negras.
Now yes, finally... An infraganti photo, which could also be the behind the camera to get closer to a spectacular cat, which looks like a Calico, which are cats, which are mostly females, because in their cells they have two X chromosomes, also known for their white fur with brown, orange and black spots.
