Beijing Olympic Museum: An Aristocratic And Historical Museum

in Worldmappin10 hours ago

Greetings, my dear Hive fellows.

When we have lovely weather in the winter, it is a satisfactory gift for us in Beijing, as you know about the previous weather conditions, especially the air condition in downtown Beijing. Recently, the Beijing Municipal has brought dramatic changes in the air quality, and throughout this winter, I have witnessed how excellent a job they have done. So, I can explore some places this winter on a regular basis, which was not possible in most of the previous winters in my Beijing life. Last week, I visited the Beijing Olympic Village area, which is one of the great attractions for the Beijing people and international tourists as a modernized developed region of the city with vast open spacious roads with great lengths and one of the biggest forest parks at the end of the Olympic village. The area is so large that you can not finish visiting in a single day.

In my old visits, I visited the whole forest park, and last week, this winter, I visited another side of the Olympic Village area where the National Nest Stadium is located. You can explore the architectural marvel from this post, where I have shown how spectacular the construction is with the contribution of modern science and engineering. There are so many other things in the area, and I could not visit all of them, but one of the great places that I have visited in the area is the Beijing Olympic Museum. However, the initial entry to the museum seems to be very normal as it has no gate or decorated entrance. Most importantly, the museum is free to enter, so I thought it would be a 10-minute walk in the museum, and I could finish exploring it very fast.

But unexpectedly, the museum is a true hidden gem to explore. I have visited a couple of museums in Beijing and Shanghai, including the National Museum, Science and Technology Museum, and some others in the Forbidden Kingdom and other tourist spots. But this one is the most spectacular, though it is solely at the Olympic games, but whatever the place is, it is a miracle. The whole museum is an underground museum, and a part of the museum may be under the large premises of the Nest Stadium, I guess. Actually, the free museum with the cleanest toilets, free pure drinking water facilities, and a reading area with reasonably priced snacks corner make the place a great place to visit in the area without any doubt.

As it is a free museum, you must have your passport with you if you are a foreigner, but Chinese citizens or foreigners who have a PR card need their respective cards with a solid checking system that takes 2/3 minutes maximum. I didn't have my passport with me, but they saw the photo of my passport and entered it into the system and let me enter the museum without any further hassle, which is really amazing, and I always love that in China. Until you are okay with your valid documents and legal issues, you are freer to move, and the safety is undoubtedly awesome, especially in the cities the safety is more than in most Western countries.

As for my experience during the Olympic games, my Chinese colleagues are so excited about the games, and you should know that they have done a great job in the games in recent years. So, I thought maybe I would be overwhelmed with the competitive data and achievements in the whole area of the museum, but the museum totally made me wrong. The whole museum was with the history and development of China in the Olympic events. Most importantly, they have highlighted their preparation, used technologies, and related people who contributed to making it possible to make the Winter Olympic 2022 in Beijing a great one.

There are many sculptures from different events of the Olympic Games, which are so beautiful and soothing to explore after I complete the first floor, which has a very limited number of things to explore. The second ground floor was a vast area with the historical events and then their works and united effort to the latest winter Olympic in 2022.

The whole place was excellently decorated with amazing lighting setups. They have especially mimicked the Winter Olympic themes in most of the museums in the current conditions. I could not find it on the map, and I guess it is a completely new museum, so they have used the latest technology to make it an awesome museum that anyone must be attracted to with its inner beauty and excellent decoration.

They have many old used stuff from many famous athletes who played for China, and these are well protected here. These will inspire the new players to do better for their country. I saw a handful number of visitors who were so curious about the museum and were all enjoying the great photos and sculptures in the museum.

Besides the player stuff, there are things that used in the Winter Olympics in 2022 are for the exhibition here for the people. The collection is huge and makes you happy to visit this place. They also have their plan and arrangement of the venue and the food supplies for the participants in the museum. You can grasp the overall concept of making so large events successful.

Finally, I want to say if you want to have an experience in a fancy museum with great technological work, then the Beijing Olympic Museum is a great place to visit. Also, you will have a good knowledge of the Beijing Olympic events and their works for making the event a great successful. As a bonus, you will have a brief history of China in the events from the old days.

I hope you like my photos of the attractive Beijing Olympic Museum, which is decorated with amazing colorful lights and many technological advancements to make the exploration a great experience. It was an amazing experience to experience such a beautiful museum in downtown Beijing, discover different attractions in the city, and enjoy my Beijing life! If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a great weekend!

Dear @tanzil2024!
Hassan!
I was amazed at how proud the Chinese people were of the Olympic Games held in their country!
It must have taken a lot of effort and money to build the monuments, memorabilia and buildings they built!

I wonder who pays for the labor and expenses that go into maintaining those memorials and buildings!

Don no batt!😃

It is a government projectand this type of projects opena a lot of jobs and it increases cash flow among the people that make the economy stronger. It is really a proud for China to build such amazing things here. Thanks for your comment. Have a great weekend!
