Greetings My Hive Fellows.
Table tennis or Ping Pong is one of the most popular games in China; in my opinion, after basketball, most people here love Ping Pong. The reason behind their basketball craze is really interesting. I asked some of my colleagues, and they said they love it because Westerners enjoy this game, especially the USA. Among the Chinese people, they only think that the United States of America is their one and only competitor in becoming the world's leader. So, they are more interested in America. They don't care about any countries in the world in terms of their culture or sports. And so they are so excited during the Olympic games as they compete with the USA in the event very closely.
And so, almost everywhere you can find basketball courts and table tennis arrangements here. We have two basketball courts, which are the only outdoor playground in my institute. We have a table tennis arrangement in the research building room, and for badminton, we use our convention room, which can flexibly accommodate three badminton courts. So, here in China, you can find these frequently, and in universities or in schools, there are also mainly football grounds, but very few people are interested in football here. Unfortunately, I am okay with badminton only among these three sports.
In the middle of the table tennis ground, there is this huge structure, which is an old relic of this place, I think. This seems to be an alcohol chamber for the mass gathering in earlier eras. Also, there are some dragons in the basement of this structure, and they can be seen from a faraway place.
Though the table tennis ground is huge with around a thousand table tennis boards, very few people were playing the game. I don't know why this place was created only for table tennis, as very few players are interested in occupying the beautiful spot. It could be a huge sports complex with all the sports facilities in my opinion.
The Table tennis ground is in by the main road of the Miyun city and it will be on the right side across the main highway, so everyone can see the huge playground only for table tennis. After this spot, I visited some other places, especially beautiful roads and bridges in the surrounding area of Miyun City.
The following massive statue was very close to a river bridge, which is really beautiful, but I found no description of that. But it was good looking, and so I have captured it as a token of memory. Then I had a longer walk by the adjacent river just on the right side of the huge table tennis ground. The adjacent residential areas and some commercial buildings were creating a stunning view from the bank of the river.
The other area of the city is also gorgeous in this area. Though people are less busy in this area, the city is quite clean at this distance from downtown Beijing. I like walking in this area, which has such stunning beauty of nature.
With less traffic and a calm environment, this city is really amazing to live for a healthy lifestyle. This is probably my last blog about Miyun City, but I have much more to discover in the mountains of this large district. Hopefully, I will take you to the deeper mountains of this district in the coming spring and summer this year.

I think population doesn’t matter as India has same population but they don't get medals in Olympic, also Bangladesh is the same with such big population. Nurturing the talent is very important.
I used to play cricket in Bangladesh and also like badminton though I am not so good at playing.
Yeah, in China you can see the same scenes as Indian subcontinent people love playing cricket!
Miyun City is beautiful and calm, so I love visiting the city to explore the beauty.
