Greetings, My dear Hive Fellows.
On my last visit to Bangladesh, I stayed in my home village most of the time. I have also visited some nearby villages that are very close to my village market area, and I can go there by bus or on some three-wheelers called 'Vans' in our local language. Pragpur is the last village bus station located very close to the Indian border. The bus route from Kushtia, my home district city, to Pragpur, is the final bus stand, which is just after my home village bus stand, Dangmorka. It is also located near my mother's birthplace, and this bus stand is the market or shopping spot for my mother's village.
Actually, the villages are pure residential areas where you can not find shops that sell everything you need except some smaller shops that sell very urgent commodities and some tea stalls selling some kind of snacks like bread, biscuits, and other things for the village people. The market area is located near the bus stand where the delivery of all things is more straightforward, and you can find everything you need from food supplies to some clinics for primary treatments, though it is difficult to find some doctors except some assign days and specific time when many doctors, specialist on many parts of the body visits in weekly basis in these villages.
In winter, it is very common that you will find dusty views in the main roadside scenarios as in the main road, the number of vehicles, including passenger buses and trucks and lorries for commodity transportations, has increased heavily here.
Villages are always beautiful, with green lushes everywhere. But unfortunately, currently, the amount of vehicles has increased a lot on the main road where buses and trucks are often visible for transportation purposes of passengers and commodities. Also, many three-wheelers are being used, which are currently run by EV cells that make the roadside area more dusty and dirty with the broken roads with muddy areas on both sides of the concrete roads.
So, you can see that brown dust is abundant on both sides of green trees and some structures that are very close to the roads. Luckily, this type of surrounding is only visible during the winter season when there is no rain in this area from November to February. But other times the rain is very frequent in Bangladesh and the surroundings become very fresh as the dusts are washed away every time it rains.
The roadside beauty in the empty area is stunning with the natural beauty of the vast agricultural lands. The fields are filled with green lushes and so many crops here.
The roadside agricultural lands are stunning here when you come out from the market area. Often you can see farmers and some local business persons are selling their products by the main road. Also, very few meat shops are available as permanent shops, which is very low in numbers, though.
Previously there were no multistoried buildings in the village area except very rare in numbers, but now there are so many buildings with many floors like there is a 5-floor building in my village market area and many more with three or four-floor buildings in the village area. These are the signs that the socio-economic conditions of the villages are developing rapidly in Bangladesh.
I hope you like my clicks from the village roadside beauty during my travel from my home village to a Nearby village with its green scenery and vast agricultural lands. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can afford.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
