Many historical sites and famous architectural works still exist and are kept until now. The most prominent are the architectural works of the Nguyen Dynasty. In particular, Khai Dinh Tomb is one of the unique mausoleums with many high artistic values.

King Khai Dinh (October 8, 1885 - November 6, 1925), he was the 12th king of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnamese history. He had a total of 12 wives, but only one son named Nguyen Phuc Vinh Thuy, later Emperor Bao Dai (1913 - 1997).

Khai Dinh Tomb was built when King Khai Dinh was still alive. After 5 years of construction, he passed away, the remaining 6 years the mausoleum was completed by his son (King Bao Dai). Total construction took 11 years.

Khai Dinh Tomb has the beauty of both the West and the East. The mausoleum is located at Chau Chu mountain, Thuy Bang commune, Huong Thuy district. Unlike other mausoleums, his mausoleum was built with a rather small area of 117 m x 48.5 m. Although the area is quite modest, the scenery and architecture inside will make you overwhelmed by its beauty.
