Hello everyone, I'm Teng, today I will lead you to explore a scenic spot in Hue city!
Peaceful places full of natural scenery are always my first choice every time I come to explore.
Do you know the Bach Ma mountain range? A picturesque mountain range and is considered the boundary between Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang. This mountain range is very famous for many beautiful poetic and also monstrous places such as Hai Van Pass. And today, let's explore a new place also in the Bach Ma range, which is Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery. This is a tranquillity place, hidden at the foot of Bach Ma mountain, sitting in the heart of the romantic Truoi lake.
Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery is quite far from the center of Thua Thien Hue province (about 35km). It belongs to the Phu Loc district and Loc Hoa commune. Because it is located in the middle of the lake and at the foot of the mountain, we will get there by different means.
From the center of Hue city, you can go to Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery by means of transportation such as
🏍️ Motorbike
🚍 Bus
🚲 Bicycle
🚘 Or car
When you arrive at the parking lot, you have to buy a ticket (The ticket is very cheap, my trip that day only cost 30000 VND or 1,253 USD per person)
That 1 ticket includes:
- Parking fee
- Fees for transportation of tourists
- Boating fee (carried to Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery)
(After buying tickets, there will be tourist transport to take us to the boat station or visit beautiful places nearby depending on the requirements of tourists.
Since the place we want to go is Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery, we will stop at the boat station. Next, the boatman will take us to the place where Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery is located)
Sitting by boat to move is also a great experience because we can see layer by layer the towering Bach Ma mountain range surrounding and the beautiful, calm, and green view of Truoi lake.

Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery is very tranquillity and clean. For many generations, this place has always kept its original features.
Surrounded by trees and green grass. Everything is neatly trimmed.
On January 1 every year, many people come to worship and pray for blessings. Because Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery is a sacred place, when entering here, each of us must keep order and dress politely to show respect. When you come here, you can go to many other places nearby such as the Ba Trai stream, and taste the specialties only in this region. We came here to worship Buddha and see the scenery so we didn't have time to go elsewhere. So if you have the opportunity to come here, please experience it for yourself!

It's beautiful and peaceful there. I went to Bach Mach National Park before, but I didn't have enough time to visit Thien Vien Truc Lam Bach Ma. For sure I will visit it when I have a chance to go there next time. Thanks for your sharing. @teng7
