I usually tend to avoid places where everyone goes, because I don't enjoy as much the crowds. I like being enchanted on my own without the noise of people jammed to have the perfect insta moment. So I went to this place with big doubts, as I am not a religious being and I heard a lot about it. However being a windy and rainy day in Barcelona I have decide to give it a go. Short journey with a train (the sings where good, only 3 people where heading there) and a short cable car to the top of it. I originally planned to hike there but I am not keen to be soaked wet. At the first sight is impressive, however I went for the warm cafe hoping the weather will change. The universe usually loves me and one hour later the rain was gone, clouds vanished and the sun said hi. The view breathtaking, I walked a bit around and happy went down via foot.
The church of Montserrat
An easy journey with the train from Barcelona after a long journey in the Pyrenees. I had low expectations, thought is going to be a very turistic place and I was enchanted by the view. A short rain placed me on a cafe for a while gave me time to think on why we cherish so much places like this in the mountains. When the rain stopped and the clouds moved away the view was amazing. An absolute gem
