Hello everyone!
As I promised, here is another story from my trip to Russia. The next stop on my journey was the Republic of Bashkortostan. It has very beautiful nature, forests, lakes…
And we went to one of such beautiful places - Pavlovskoe reservoir. This reservoir was created on the Ufa River back in the 1961. It is a reserve source of water supply for the city of Ufa – the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
We went by car with friends to this place. The road from the city of Ufa takes about 3 hours. After arrival, we checked into a small hotel on the banks of the reservoir and went straight to the beach. A very comfortable temperature in summer is a big plus for Bashkiria.
The next day we went on an exciting boat trip along the reservoir. I felt a bit like a captain, they gave me the opportunity to steer the boat. We saw very beautiful rocks along the reservoir. Earlier, before the construction of the reservoir, there were high mountains in these places. The water depth in the area of these rocks reaches 40 meters. Each of the 12 rocks has its own name in honor of the 12 Apostles.
During the walk, we stopped at a house on the water to buy fresh fish. There we met a very friendly cat who greeted us. I really wanted to take him with me, but he probably lives well in such a beautiful place with delicious fish for lunch and dinner.
When our boat trip was over, we went on to sunbathe, relax and enjoy the beautiful summer.
I got wonderful impressions from this trip to the Pavlovskoe reservoir and surely will come back here on our next visit to Russia.
In the next post I will try to show you one of the most beautiful places I have ever been- Krasny Klyuch, the second largest water source in Europe.
Stay tuned.
