Greetings
Hello readers. My best friend Chizzy (lady in black) came to visit me in my school. The University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. So I decided to take her hiking on the hills, The name "Enugu" literally translates to "top of the hill", so no surprise there we are surrounded by hills, and probably on higher ground compared to other states (no wonder it's so difficult to get water here). If you're visiting/in Nigeria, make sure to visit for a quick and cost-free hiking experience.

Our Journey
Yep, that's my best friend in front of the camera. We has to transport ourselves to the place, $2 total going and coming from my house for the three of us. I took this picture of her after we bought water and snacks. We trekked for some time before we could get this full view of the hill.
We asked the locals the best path to follow as the hill stretched really far and we'd never been there (even though I have a family house in that street). They showed us this beautiful entrance and I had to get a picture.
To the left is Wisdom (my flatmate) and to the right is Chizzy. We felt lost along the way at many points. this was one of them.
Luckily for us, wisdom spotted a path. We took it, it wasn't the smoothest of paths and while I'm used to these type of adventures, it was fun watching my friends struggle.
They caught me taking pictures.
I was out of breath (hey! my bag was loaded with sachets of water and other things, and I carried most weight).
Wisdom shot this while I went up to make sure we were headed in the right direction.
Of course I came prepared. This area is notorious for having a lot of snakes, Im not saying I'm scared of ordinary armless reptiles😑. I was prepared incase I needed to clear a path. 😑

Finally i could see the sun again. The top was in sight, I had to get this picture.
On top of the world! We made a dance video up here, took some shots. (no!, I'm not posting the video)
Took some shots of Chizzy for her modeling contest (the official ones won't be posted here, sorry). Here have this beauty.

Happiness is cheap, and it's worth it.
Friendship since primary school. We were 7 years old when we met and began competing for top of the class. I'm smarter, but she beat me to it most times cos I don't read. Yes! Chizzy I said it😑

PS; I fell on my way down (don't chase people down a hill, it's not worth it 😪😅). Now I have two beautiful scars on my face. No pictures please, and nothing serious, They'd heal pretty soon too.
