Dear everyone in Pinmapple Community.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
Today I will share with you my trip to Hoi An. It was one of my most memorable trips.
A World Cultural Heritage
UNESCO recognized Hoi An as a world cultural heritage on December 4, 1999. As a result, Hoi An became a tourist destination that attracts many tourists and cultural researchers.
A Commercial Port
According to some historical documents, Hoi An was a trading port formed around the 15th and 16th centuries and flourished in the early 17th century. Thanks to its geographical location as well as its favorable climate, Hoi An attracted many merchants to come here to exchange goods. Many ships of Asian merchants such as China, Japan, and European merchants such as Portugal, Spain, England, and France came here to open trade fairs for 5 to 6 months every year. Nguyen Lord allowed these merchants to stay and establish trading towns in Hoi An.
Cultural Interference
Nguyen Lord's permission for merchants to settle down is the main reason that greatly affects this commercial port. The unique feature of Hoi An is the cultural interference from many different countries. And this cultural interference is most evident in the buildings. The houses here are tubular with a width of about 4 meters to 8 meters and a length of 10 meters, sometimes up to 50 meters. The architecture of Southeast Asians is shown in the 2-layer tile roof and yellow-painted walls.
Assembly hall
Chinese merchants often came and established a Chinatown in Hoi An. Assembly halls are architectural works imbued with Chinese culture. You can see the pillars are carved with Chinese characters and many mascots. Every building always has a main gate in front and a large yard.
Good trip
It was an enjoyable experience. In ancient towns, you have to walk or ride a bicycle. That makes the visit here more fulfilling. You have more time to sightsee the beautiful spot and enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere here. Hoi An ancient is the perfect place for someone like me. Get up early in the morning to walk around the old town, drink a coffee cup, and enjoy the peaceful life here.

This is a very informative post about Hoi An, thanks for that.
A big part of travel, and what makes a post unique, is your personal experience. Taking readers on a journey with you, so they can experience your travels through you, like what a place meant to you, why you decided to got there, how you felt when you went there, what you liked or didn't like about it, what's good or not good about it etc
Background information about a place is good, but since the information can often be found easily on the internet, the value add to readers is not as high as personal experience. Hopefully next time you can share more of your personal experience with us. I'm sure that would elevate your post to the next level.
Thank you for your sincere advice
I will try to improve the quality in the next post
