what is your plan for this weekend? I had a pretty enjoyable first weekend. I went with my sister to a few places quite far from Hue city, and that is also the reason why I am writing today. Today I want to interest you in an interesting point in Hue which is the village of incense in Thuy Xuan.
Thuy Xuan incense village is known for its long-standing tradition of making incense in Hue. This place also attracts virtual people by the brilliant scenery of multi-colored bouquets of green, red, purple, and yellow incense.
Some features about the village of incense:
According to an artist in Thuy Xuan Huong village, Hue, I was known that incense making appeared here about 700 years ago under the Nguyen Dynasty. In the past, the village was a place to provide incense to the court, mandarins, and people in Thuan Hoa and Phu Xuan areas.
Although it has undergone many changes over time, this Hue incense village continues to be preserved and developed. Generations passed from father to son to make fragrant incense trees, serving the spiritual life of local people as well as outside.
As soon as you entered the village, the scent of incense permeated the space. Here, incense artisans often decorate beautiful bouquets of incense so that visitors can take pictures and "perform" the traditional incense-making stages. When my sister and I went to the place, we saw a bustling scene of young people trying to check in with bouquets of flowers arranged with incense. The bouquets of incense are neatly arranged by the craftsmen to create beautiful and harmonious perspectives on very beautiful and attractive photos.
I heard more than in recent years, the people of Thuy Xuan incense village have developed a type of traditional tourism combining experiences to promote the craft village and incense making to domestic and foreign tourists.
Thuy Xuan incense village has now become a unique tourist attraction attracting tourists. On average, every day, about 25-30 groups of tourists come to visit and experience, helping the people here have more conditions to preserve and develop the traditional profession of their ancestors.
One thing that is extremely attractive to me and makes me feel warm is the gentle enthusiasm and kindness, the hospitality of the incense artisans here, they welcome guests very enthusiastically and they are always welcoming. Smile to welcome guests, moreover, when we come here to take pictures, we don't have to pay parking fees, and we are also shown how to make incense for free. what a great experience with traditional craft and traditional people here. When we come here, we can also buy for our family unique and fragrant incense, lovely souvenirs such as bags, keychains or pictures, etc.
