in Worldmappin3 years ago

Hello friends. It's me again. I love spending time learning mysterious stories or stories that few people know. Today I want to share with you the untold stories of the historical bridge as well as the symbolic bridge of the dreamland of Hue, the bridge with the name Truong Tien Bridge.

Perhaps you have come across this bridge in an earlier article. That is also natural because anyone who comes to Hue is also attracted by this bridge. and this bridge is also the symbol of Hue. The symbol of the long-term bridge and the Huong River have been attached to each other like a couple who love each other forever.

Symbol of an eternal love

Huong river meanders gently in the heart of Hue. Truong Tien bridge is a solid, solid bridge that crosses rivers, rivers, and bridges to look at each other regardless of time and weather. After 3 times of collapse, Truong Tien Bridge still tries to hold on to the Huong River, showing a deep and faithful love.

Some features of Truong Tien bridge.

Trang Tien Hue Bridge is located right in the city center and is also known as Truong Tien Bridge, Thanh Thai Bridge. The bridge connects the two banks of the Perfume River with the northern end in Phu Hoa ward, the southern end in Phu Hoi ward.

This is the first bridge in Indochina built according to techniques and materials imported from the West. The bridge is built of steel with a total length of 402.60 meters, including 6 spans of steel girders in the shape of a ring, with an aperture of 67 meters for each span.

Who is the builder of Truong Tien Bridge?

The controversial question in the press. Until now, many people, including Hue cultural researchers, still default to Truong Tien Bridge made by the Eiffel Company. Reviewing official history books of the Nguyen Dynasty such as Dai Nam Thuc Luc, Dai Nam Nhat Thong Chi, and even the Memoirs of Indochina by Governor-General Paul Doumer do not specify the "author" of this famous bridge in Hue. Thousands of articles, hundreds of books, including dictionaries about Hue and Truong Tien Bridge, have long recorded that Truong Tien Bridge was built by the Eiffel Company (France). Many people believe that this bridge and the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris are "brothers" and "father" is engineer Gustave Eiffel. But archival documents in the French archives show that is not the case.

What is attractive when visiting Truong Tien Bridge in Hue?

Truong Tien Hue Bridge has entered into poetry and has become a symbol and attractive destination of the ancient capital because of its historical values and typical beauties as follows:

Each country, each city will have its own characteristics. Hue too. Hue put on the clothes of ancient, contemplative, melancholy, and quiet colors. That place is also associated with ancient and different works like no other. Hue is the most peaceful and safe place in my country. Because of that ancient silence, the works here are more special, more soulful. And most especially, it is the symbol of eternal money by the gentle river of incense.
I hope the stories I bring to you are interesting.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my post.
