Located
The great point that we discovered is located 50 km from Ha Tinh city in a mountainous district of my dear country Vietnam. Tram Lam Temple, also known as "The hundred-year temple", is located in a prime location in Phu Thanh village, Phu Gia commune, Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh. The temple is built in the South direction with a wooden house with a three-way gate. With a system of interconnected walls built of limestone bricks and mortar. On the two columns, there are two cymbals standing on three sides of the column decorated with dragon, phoenix and couplets motifs.
The beauty of the sacred temple.
Through research, I learned that in the past, this was a very large and sacred temple. After that, the war destroyed the temple and caused a lot of damage. Fortunately, until now, the monument still retains the temple, the well and the Tam Quan gate. Entering the temple, you can immediately see the Tam Quan gate with a long wall system connected through the left and right mandarins with two fangs. The whole is built of brick, stone, lime and mortar. Above the fang column, there are two elves standing in adoration. The three sides of the column are decorated with dragon and phoenix motifs and couplets. But due to time and war, some of the couplets were blurred and could not be seen clearly. Tram Lan temple relic was built in the south direction, with wooden house style. Previously, the temple was roofed with palm leaves. Later, when it was restored, it was replaced with a tile roof. The most special thing about this temple is a semicircular well. Legend has it that the water in the lake has four seasons a year, the well water has four colors. Spring water is blue, summer is pink, autumn is white and winter is black. It is a difficult story to verify, but when I visited Tram Lam temple on warm spring days, the water was blue and a very strange pearl color. In the temple, there are still a couple of carvings worshiped by Crown Prince Thieu Bao Nguyen Chinh, former Governor of Nghe An:

Cong Phu Dai Trung Hung saint

Danh town Nam Thien Thuong Dang God

Besides this temple has a mural by a god. The official sent to the court sent a three-word title "Nien Thien Muoi" in Tram Lam Temple to worship "The Holy Mother of Tram Lam and the Luc Quoc Thanh y heroic spirit jade spirit spirit angel", a deity who was once worshiped by the Le dynasties. - Nguyen Phong is "the supreme supreme god". In addition, there are two gods worshiped as "Princess Ma Hong" and "Twelfth Thien Tien Nuong".

Legend of the sacred temple.
Tram Lam Temple is famous throughout the region for its sacredness and surrounding mythological stories. Those are the legends about the sacred temple that reported the dream to King Ham Nghi and the well in front of the temple that until now, the people around still insist that this is a "God well" and has no bottom.

According to the legend of the people in the region, at the end of the 14th century and the beginning of the 15th century, the Ming invaders invaded our country, and the southern Champa invaders harassed and bullied the good people. The scene of desolation, hunger and poverty of our people is extremely tragic. To save all nations, a fairy appeared, the Holy Mother. People built her temple. On the morning of September 20, 1885, King Ham Nghi and Ton That Thuyet came to rest at the temple. Here, King Ham Nghi wrote Hich Can Vuong, calling on the people to continue to oppose the French. The king assigned Ton That Thuyet to perform the reading ceremony at Tram Lam temple and Cong Dong temple. At night, the king did not enter the city but slept at the temple. The king had just taken a nap, in a dream, a fairy in a blue outfit appeared, telling a dream: the white demons (French colonialists) were sending troops to raid, the king needed to decide if he would stay. kill the people. In the wake of the dream, the king convened a meeting of the gods, handed over to Ton That Thuyet to give thanks to the god and offered many treasures, ordainted the gods to worship at the temple, including: two golden elephants (one weighing twenty). seven pounds, one weighs seven pounds - each pound is equivalent to one piece of gold), a bronze elephant, a goose, two swords and eight sets of court robes and hats, more than forty royal titles... Then, according to the dream, the king and his army retreated to the mountains and forests in Quang Binh.

Tales passed down.

Through the journey to learn about Tram Lam temple, we heard many people here tell about mysterious stories related to this temple. First and go to the well at the temple. People here insist that this well has no bottom. The proof is that during the resistance war against the French, there was a French soldier who brought a very long rope, tied it to a stone and sailed to the middle of the well. The French soldier dropped the rope, dropped countless meters of rope, but still saw that the rope was still tight and showed no signs of slackening. He concluded that this well had no bottom. Three years ago, many people from the commune and district authorities bought a wire to measure the depth of the water well at Tram Lam temple. But before taking measurements, a psychic came and said that the measurement could not be carried out because around the well there were many protective soldiers. Many psychics, after visiting the temple, also identified an elderly man in Phu Gia who also told a story. In the past, families who had ceremonies and offerings but were poor and could not afford to buy bowls, trays, and tables would go to the well to pray. A few minutes later, a boat filled with dishes, trays, tables… will slowly float up. That family after using it must clean it carefully and return it. However, there is a family because of greed, after borrowing, they exchanged a few items and returned them. That was also the last time people here could borrow things from the well. In the story that became more and more exciting, an old man told a story that he had witnessed. Several decades ago, a teacher brought students to the well to measure. It can't be measured, that person has blasphemed the gods in the temple. So, after returning home for a few days, the teacher suddenly became mentally ill. Besides, many people have also confirmed that a person in the commune has been married for 10 years and still has no children. Cure running, praying everywhere is still ineffective. However, after going to Tram Lam temple to pray for himself, not long after that person got good news. There are many more interesting things about the sacred temple that the people here still pass on. That is why, for a long time, Tram Lam temple has become a place of belief of people in Huong Khe district and many places in the country.

In 2001, Tram Lam Temple belongs to the complex of Citadel and communal temples, and Tram Lam Temple was ranked as a National Historical and Cultural Relic by the State. Experiencing many historical events, the temple was damaged for many years, invested by the State and people to contribute efforts to restore the temple, so it is spacious and sacred to welcome a large number of tourists to visit and worship.
Many stories about sacred temples have left me with unforgettable impressions. I hope that through my sharing, you will feel somewhat the beauty and sacredness of this temple.
