Welcome back to my post😘
How do you do? Today follow me to a very famous historical site in my hometown. This is not just 1 but 3 locations. However, today I can only introduce you to 1 of them. If given the chance, I will definitely recommend you to other places. And the place that I will introduce to you today is Tram Lam Temple - which has been awarded a National Historical and Cultural Relic by the State.
Overview of the cluster of 3 locations
Associated with the fight against foreign invaders of King Ham Nghi, the cluster of relics of Son Phong citadel, Cong Dong temple, and Tram Lam temple (Phu Gia commune, Huong Khe, Ha Tinh province) contain many precious historical values: both culture and spirit.
According to history, on July 4, 1885, when the Imperial City of Hue fell, Ton That Thuyet gathered soldiers to support King Ham Nghi and went to Tan So, Quang Tri province, for the first time composing the edict of Can Vuong calling on people to stood up against the French colonialists. However, the location of Tan So citadel was not convenient for defense, so King Ham Nghi and his entourage crossed the Quy Hop pass to Son Phong citadel, in Phu Gia commune (Huong Khe) to defend. Son Phong citadel is a small citadel located on the left bank of the Tiem River, near the foot of Truong Son mountain. This is a very convenient military position, can go down to Ha Tinh province, there is a shortcut through Nghe An province, there is a road through the forest to Quang Binh, to Laos ...
