We booked our summer holiday last month. Since we cannot travel abroad due to airport chaos and the uncertainty of flights so we decided that we stay local. Let's go England!
We book 4 days in Haven Devon Cliffs, 5 days at Butlins Minehead and 2 nights camping and a day in Blackpool. This is great for the kids and also this is a celebration for my son, Jigz's, 12th birthday.
We started our long journey last Thursday. From Larne (Belfast) we take the European Causeway to Cairnryan (Scotland). We cross the water for two hours and the kids get comfy and find their best spot to lie down since it's their bedtime anyway.
We bring our transit van and drive it for a 10-hour bum-numbing journey to our first stop, Haven Devon Cliffs. With stopovers for a coffee break and rest so it took us 12 hours to reach our first destination.
Haven at Devon Cliffs is a Holiday Park in Exmouth. The place is massive. The location is perfect with the view of the mountain cliff and Sandy Bay. We got lost on our first day trying to find our caravan. We were 2 hours early so we can't check in yet. We decided to get nosy and check what our caravan looks like. I think we walked for an hour just to find it. You can get lost easily. How many caravans there is?
I don't have a clue. Too many to count.
The place has a swimming pool (indoors and outdoors), a play area, shops, restaurants and pubs, entertainment day and night, the sea in front and different activities for kids. I booked this for Tia and Jigz.
The place is a perfect destination during the summer holidays for the whole family. And oh wow it's roasting in here!
We stayed in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom caravan. It's equipped with essential things that we needed but I'm also prepared and bring our own stuff. There are plates, cups, pots, fridge freezer, iron, toaster, microwave, and kettle so cooking is not a problem. The food costs a fortune for a family so I am cooking whenever it suits.
And here we are at our caravan!
Now let me show you what's outside. That's in front of us. It's nice to have a balcony to enjoy this panoramic view. I even had a perfect view of the Supermoon the other night.
And here are the highlights of the place. I think 4 days is not enough to check out everything here. I didn't expect it to be this big. And I'm surprised. I don't even feel like we are still in the UK. Feels like we are in Turkey!

You will never get bored as there are loads to come you need to prebooked and some you can just walk in. There's different shows for kids and adults. They will surely going to entertain you. And oh don't forget to play Bingo! And just like anywhere else 'Money' is a must. Be prepared to get broke, lol.

Oh really? 😍 Is it busy as well as this time it's packed! And the caravans I read about reviews beforehand and lol I was hoping that our caravan isn't the worst and glad we are pleased with it.
